  Less players on then usual

I've noticed something after survive came out, and it's that the amount of players on the TTT servers are diminishing quite obviously. Don't get me wrong, there are still times where the TTT server has a decent amount of players on it... but there are times will I will get on later at night (9ish) and there will be no players on. Literally none, then I will check event server and BOOM! 2 event servers filled with 5 players each, that otherwise would probably be playing TTT. Now I know this is just my opinion, but I really think brass should focus less on making events and focus more on making different mini games while playing TTT, that way people will have an incentive to play TTT more. And if there has to be events, keep them short like no more than 30 minutes, because survive is seriously draining the players from the server it seems. This is open to opinions, I really want to see how other people feel about this.

PS: No hate for survive, think its really fun but just way too time consuming.

It's always kinda occurred to me that you couldn't really test out your weapon to see exactly how much damage it would do, depending on where you shot. Why not add a section in the lobby where you can test your weapon on some dummies that display their exact health?

  • Fixed the bone crate coin rarities(was just a display bug).
  • Removed hunter rounds until the bug can be resolved(going to rewrite the round state code).
  • Buffed the UMP's base damage up to 12, and slightly increased its firerate. The UMP is unique to SMG's because its headshot multiplier doesn't scale based on distance like all others.
    New UMP stats:

    SWEP.Primary.Delay = 0.090

Survive

  • Fixed several bugs with resurrection (hopefully).
  • The second puzzles timer now counts down faster.
  • The Unknown Staff's primary attack is now weaker.

General
  • For the first time ever in FRG's history, there is a December deal happening right now on donations! All donations will receive 25% more rubies until the end of December!
  • Bone crates have been re-balanced again, the coin amounts should be MUCH better now in both the Survive obtained one and the Coinshop obtained ones. (I tested pretty extensively, hopefully I didn't overbuff them, the stats on my open simulations say it should be fine, but you guys always seem to get super lucky).

I'm starting to work on some Christmas related updates, but don't expect anything huge as I've been taking a break because survive has me pretty burnt out(as well as some other stuff taking up my time), but I will definitely have a little something something for you guys to enjoy (or hate hehe).

Hello,

I'd like to extend another thank you to all those who supported the battleship gamemode as well as those who showed up to play test its first iteration.

This is going to be a thread for me to keep you updated on any major developments to the gamemode.

Procedurally generated levels!

I saw a post on facepunch about procedurally generated worlds, and I wanted to try it myself, and that's what I came up with.

How is this related to battleship? I can make a map full of water which has randomly generated islands around it, which would make for some pretty fun combat.

Gingerbread Man (Misc item)
Description - My granny made this for our job guys -Timmy the Traitor
This item has 3 uses. When a player takes a bite out of the cookie thy will receive 10-15 health points immediately. ( this gives you basically the same effect as health orb but instead you can heal quicker but also can not heal as much)

Snowy (Pet)
Description - This little fella just sprang to life. It looks like he thinks you're his creator!
My ideas for this was a little snowman maybe around the size of the rabbit. Just a bit taller. He has little animations where maybe his 3 snowballs that make his body will kind of jump up and separate them come back down.

The Toy Maker (Deagle)
Description - This was taken off a drunken elf. I wonder how the make toys in the North Pole.

15% mobility
20% accuracy
10-15% Fire rate
-30% Stabilty
10-16% Damage
-15-10% Reload Speed
Has a 1 in 8 chance to cause a snow storm to attack the player causing them to take 15-20 Damage and slows the player. (The animation would have a snow storm effect that would circle the effected player.)

Santa's Spotter (Rifle)
Description - So this is how he tells if you're naughty or nice. This seems a bit dangerous!
Legendary
Stats -
10% Mobility
15-20% Accuracy
-5% Firerate
-18% stability
20-25% Damage
-16% Reload Speed
Has a 1 in 8-12 chance to hit target with Santa's Niceness checker causing the player's soul to glow and be seen through anything for 3-6 seconds. (With a sniper this would be useful when trying to track a player that is hiding for cover. This could need some trimming so please add thoughts.

I'll add more soon but for now here's a basis of some ideas. Give me your thoughts on what you think and/or what needs to be amended. Thanks!

Exclamation Poll: Remove Kuro's "Bad RNG" Title

As stated, Kuro has now (and before) obtained an end round Djinn Crate and rolled a Godlike. He is no longer worthy of his Bad RNG title and must have it removed from his inventory!
