Let's discuss what rules you the community thinks should be changed, removed, added, or addressed/clarified. I believe a thread would be better than a meeting, just because more people can be involved, during a longer period of time. Especially to address something as important as this.
Here's the current ruleset (Huge thanks to Unpoke for re-organizing/re-wording some of the rules)
In-Game Rules
» No meta-gaming.
Meta-gaming is any strategy, action or method used in a game going against the game objective. Meta-gaming is most simply defined as helping an innocent as a T or helping a T as an innocent. This includes purposely losing a minigame under any circumstance.
» Do not delay.
Letting the timer run out as a traitor can be considered delaying under most circumstances. Camping a t-room or refusing to attempt to kill innocents are examples of these and will get you slain. You can not delay as an innocent or detective.
» Ghosting is not tolerated.
Being in a third party program with friends is okay as long as you aren't affecting gameplay. This includes giving away player locations or saying who the traitors are. If you are caught ghosting you will be permanently banned.
» No RDMing.
Killing somebody based on suspicion, location, skin, weapon, or any other questionable means are not allowed on this server. You must have proof based on viable evidence. You can use logic as long as it's built on in-game facts, not observations or drawn conclusions. This means you can KOS off of being one of only two people alive, or if only one person is not proven. Attempting to RDM by dealing damage to a player is classified and treated as RDM. Leaving after committing an act of RDM is bannable. Completing any sort of map objective as an innocent that causes traitors to win is treated as mass-RDM as well as meta-gaming. As a traitor, you must warn t-buddies of any quick actions that may endanger them. This includes remote bombs, discombobs, incendiaries, traitor traps, etc. This does NOT include C4's - those have a neat display showing a time limit for them to get away.
» Do not traitor bait/karma bait
Shooting around somebody, attempting to prop-kill, or pushing/discombobulating players in a hazardous area is classified as traitor baiting. Consequences are worse when it's for the reason of hurting somebody's karma. Shooting directly into the sky is not traitor baiting, but anywhere else around a player is. Destroying a health station without permission from the detective is traitor bait and is KOSable. You can only destroy health stations if the detectives are dead OR you have direct permission to do so. Destroying them without that can be considered traitorous.
» Claiming is allowed.
Claiming is allowed ONLY during overtime. You may claim single rooms and they must not be a crucial part of the map. You MUST claim in text chat. Opening doors is KOSable regardless of it being mentioned. You may NOT claim an entire hallway leading to your room or entire ladders.
» No Harassment.
Following someone every round just because you don't like them is annoying and not allowed. If someone is following you and you don't want them to be, you may use the 3 warning rule. The 3 warning rule is when you type in chat or say aloud, "Stop following me, warning 1." You must wait 5 seconds and then say, "Stop following me, warning 2." 5 more seconds and then, "Stop following me, final warning!" After 5 more seconds if that person is still following you, you are allowed to kill them. The 3 warning rule can also be used for door blocking, prop blocking or anything else that may restrict your movement.
» Detectives have no authority.
Detectives cannot force anybody to test or do anything. Detectives cannot claim until overtime either. Only detectives can force you to drop a body to find DNA/evidence on.
» Do not kill AFKs.
Our AFK system or a staff member will take care of that. If you believe someone is farming please inform staff.
» No Toxicity in RDM Reports.
Being toxic in a RDM report (insulting the other player, or anything like that), will usually end up in the report being closed, or ruled in favor of the other party. If both parties are toxic, both may be punished. (via slays, kicks, or bans)
» Do not spam Doors, buttons, or anything else that can disrupt the flow of gameplay.
Blocking off areas of the map, or trapping people somewhere by spamming doors, buttons, or anything of the like is not allowed, and is slayable.
General Rules
» No exploiting/hacking.
Using exploits for personal gain(such as an exploit to do an event and not receive a cooldown), or to beat events(getting to a place where NPC's cant hit/reach you) is a perma-ban. Getting into unreachable areas is not allowed. Any area that allows you to see through walls is an exploit. Door blocking classifies as exploiting. No hacking is self-explanatory. If you believe somebody is hacking/exploiting, contact a staff member.
» No advertising.
You may not advertise in your name, text chat, or mic chat. This includes posting any sort of link in chat whether its yours or not.
» Show respect.
Racism, arguing, sexism, or any other sort of disrespect is never allowed. Names should not include curse words, terms that affect gameplay or any other inappropriate content.
» No spamming.
Consistent talking, making comprehensible noises into your microphone or singing are examples of mic-spam. Chat spamming is not allowed either.
» Server/Player threats are not tolerated.
Threatening to hack, DDOS, crash, or put the server or a player at risk in any way is an INSTANT permanent ban. This includes doxxing.
» Make your name pronounceable.
Do not use unrecognizable characters. It has to be pronounceable to all players.
» Do not argue with staff.
Staff are chosen because they're believed to have an understanding of rules and are trusted. If you believe they're doing something wrong, make a player complaint. Arguing in game with them just causes more problems, drama, and is not the way to handle it.
Inventory Rules
» Only use provided trading methods.
Third-party trading is NOT allowed. Do not attempt to trade any sort of non-tradeable items. This includes using a non-tradeable item and giving the result of it to the buyer.
» No scamming/sharking.
Trying to persuade someone a trade is fair when it's not, trying to take advantage of newcomers, or anything else along these lines are not allowed.
» No farming.
This means going AFK to collect end of round drops or lengthen your time played on the servers. This also forbids use of click-bots or using exploits to avoid cooldowns.

Map the event happened on: halo_acsension and ttt_office for thomas.cintula and just ttt_office for Haden208
Date of event: 7/13/2017
What Happened?: Over a long course of rounds he killed multiple people for absolutely no reason, all of them being afk so they could not report him, he also did this to me, of which I tried to report him but no staff were on. He did this many times that it got him down to 594 karma or something, but it went back up to 800, then down to 720. I confronted him for RDMing me and attempting to RDM another afk at one point and he acted like nothing happened and everything was fine, he was like "nah I didn't RDM you". More people saw him RDM and saw him attempt to RDM multiple times, I'd estimate over 5 times he killed people for no reason.
While I was in the middle of typing this, Haden208 had the bright idea of deciding to RDM me as well while I was afk, so I am going to add that in as well. I was afk in the garage area of ttt_office and he killed me even though he was innocent, he is also level 4, which means that he should most likely know the rules by now.
Witnesses: gamerplayer357, {LFG} Haden208, Pineapple From State Farm, there may have been more but I'm not sure.
I do not know the witnesses for Haden208 rdming me while I was afk.
Evidence: I have no actual evidence besides the witnesses that I know of, Angry_Jester also knows of the RDM by thomas.cintula, if I had any recording software I would have used it to record this, but unfortunately I do not have any.

Additions
- Oruk has arrived to the lobby. This Oracle is a go-to for information you may not be able to find by asking our players. He will be updated regularly with new entries, so be sure to check him out. Also be sure to take any new items you may have to him, he may just know a thing or two about it.
- Added new godlike drops to Morgoth, Bloodwynd, and Rk'uloth (Survive boss). 1 each.
Changes
- The M1911's Base Damage has been increased to 21 from 20, and the Headshot multiplier increased to 2.1, from 1.95.
- Disabled adding more recoil based on your current 'inaccuracy' from spraying.
- Lowered the amount of recoil added that was based on your weapons damage increase from its base, by 50%.
- Added Recoil increases based on your weapons firerate increase compared to the original. If your weapon has lower firerate, the recoil is unchanged (same with damage).
- Added recoil dampener variables. This allows Specific weapons to lower the amount of 'dynamic recoil' that is applied to them.
- The HUGE no longer has the inaccuracy system applied. The recoil changes are though.
- Added a max inaccuracy variable, so weapons 'cap out' at a certain inaccuracy level when spraying.
- Added a max Recoil variable (determines how much said weapons recoil can be dynamically adjusted based on the items stats, as TTT's recoil system just moves your view angle up. There's no capping that).
- Disabled the Inaccuracy system on the Lobby/Events.

In my experience on this server the rules do not cover a lot of the technicalities enforced by staff of the server. In making this thread I hope to accomplish a few rule changes, re-wordings, and potentially new rules to be added. Let me know your thoughts. The purpose of this suggestion is to make the quality of life for players much better and to reduce arguements or slays due to loopholes or accidents. Looking for genuine feedback as I feel these suggestions could improve the server if people agree with them. Thanks!

Rules:

Needed Clarification / Suggestion:
Include that trading during the round is not allowed. It is not very clear and tends to cause arguments when non staff members tell players no trade talk during round.
NO RDM! Killing someone based on suspicion, location, gun, player model, or any other questionable means are not allowed on this server ever. You must have proof! Logical killing is not RDM. (For example, there are 3 players left alive, 1 is proven, all others have been identified. It is logical for the last non-proven innocent to kill the last traitor being the only two “unproven” left.) If you see someone look at an unidentified body and ignore it you may kill them. However, if they simply walk near it and may not have specifically aimed at it you have to ask them to identify it before killing them.
Suggestion:
Sub-rule(?) for clarification:
You cannot kos off of location or gun: IE you MUST see people commit the crime to kos them.
The current rule says you cannot kos off of gun or location, but people do not understand that this means you must SEE the crime. I believe an example either somewhere on an official thread on the forums or a sub rule in the rules would help clarify this rule and prevent a lot of issues down the road.
Example: A person (Person A) leaves a room with an unidentified body (Person B) that you are entering, the body of Person B says they was killed by the same type of gun that Person A was using, and the body of Person B shows that it was killed within 10 seconds. Logically, we know Person A was most likely the T, but because of how the server handles logic, we cannot kos Person A because you did not physically see Person A kill Person B.
This is an issue mainly with newcomers as the veteran players have learned this technicalitiy and by posting an example I believe it will prevent a fair share of rdm or at least help players to understand what we mean by these rules. Coming from other TTT servers in my past, this rule was actually very difficult to adjust to in the beginning.

NO TRAITOR BAITING! Shooting near someone, trying to prop kill, pushing someone near a ledge or any other dangerous area, hitting someone with your melee or doing anything else traitorous is considered traitor baiting. If you are proven and have acquired a traitor weapon you MUST state so in either text chat or voice chat. It is preferred you state so in both to avoid confusion but one or the other is fine. If you are killed for any of these reasons it IS NOT RDM. ATTEMPTED RDM is still punishable.
Clarification:
If you call out a Traitor weapon or secret knife - can you be killed for running near people while holding said knife or traitor weapon? I have been on many occassions and I consider this rdm, but people call it traitor baiting even when they acknowledge that it is the secret knife of the map. Clarification on something such as this can prevent rdm in the future!
Clarification:
There is a lot of traitor baiting I hear people talk about that is not covered in this rule definition. For example: Carrying a turtle around the map when the turtle is a known explosive t trap, or carrying an explosive barrel near any amount of people. Many people get killed for traitor baiting for these activites while being entirely unaware that these are infact considered. I think including things such as these either on an official post on the forums or as a change to the current rule would help in the future.
NO EXPLOITING! Getting under maps or in an area that is normally unreachable is not allowed! If you can see through a wall it is an exploit. Do not hack, glitch, or exploit in any way. This includes prop pushing, prop surfing, and door blocking. If you discover an exploit or bug please report it on our forums.
Clarification / Example:
When we all think of exploiting we think of "game breaking" exploits or glitches to get out of the map or make the game entirely unfair. I have on multiple occasions been told different stories on exploiting, and some of them just seem ridiculous to be called exploiting, so a clarification would be great??
Examples: Grapple hooking or prop surfing to where players cannot get normally. People get yelled at for this all the time, but then what would be the point of the grapple? (Prop surfing makes sense.) IE: Twin towers on ttt_rooftops. Top of the tower in ttt_sundaystreet. People go here with grapples all the time but staff won't bat an eye, yet if you go on top of a building in any other map most staff will call it "exploiting".
Another example that I think ISN'T exploiting but I've seen enforced and bans threatened by staff is a barnacle on teleport locations: For example the teleport to the tester basement on 6t7thway. Recently a player placed a barnacle where the teleporter brings you, and a staff member threatened the traitor because this was considered "exploiting". Personally, I don't see this as exploiting but rather using your wits to be a wise traitor.
Other times people yell "STOP EXPLOITING" would include door spamming on any given map, but especially during special rounds like infected or hunter. Exploiting refers to abusing the map for an advantage, but things like doors aren't really "exploitable" in my opinion. Still, it's scary to hear someone accusing you of a bannable offense when there's no real clarification. If special rounds require a different set of rules, why not add rules to the SPECIAL RULES section of the rules on the bottom containing these rules?
New rule suggestion:
NO KARMA BAITING! Players tend to t-bait for fun or to antagonize other players into draining their karma by killing them for "t-baiting". Examples of this would include when players shoot the ceiling and people can kill them for it under the pretense of t-baiting, and it results in rdm chains and countless arguments. If not the idea of the new rule, then clarification that obviously shooting the ceiling is not official t-baiting.
Clearly the actually wording / ruling for this would be re-worked but overall I wanted to hear people's thoughts on the idea as it tends to be an issue.

Morgoths labyrinth was the first special event that people can do as a team. Its sad to see it getting little to no attention with as fun as it was in the beginning, to the extent of a lot of newer player's who want to give it a shot having difficulty building a team. The majority of players consider it not worth the time for what they get out of it. If we make it so the mobs have a chance to drop loot orbs, it might bring more life back into ye old labyrinth.

It's been here since mid 2015 with little to no changes at all.
One of the biggest problems is that the prices for most of the weapons are completely unbalanced compared to what they are actually worth.
Here is what I'm talking about:
Nighthawks go for 81 frags while Swifts are only 68 and are way more sought after, and on top of that they can ONLY be purchased from the weapon shop while Nighthawks can be rolled from almost anything.
Aggro-Magnets are 29 frag while their average cost on the market is 10 coins.
Why would I spend frags that take quite a while to get on a gun that costs 10 coins? It makes no economical sense. None of the lower end guns ever get bought due to this. Not even level 5's that join the lobby for the first time think that's a good deal.
Prices need a significant overhaul of what they currently are.
Another problem is that the shop only resets once a week.
I get back in 2015 this was useful because of how limited drops were, but now that we have a bunch of farmable events and bosses(Bloodwynd, Survive, Grims to an extent), it seems pretty pointless for it to only reset once a week, when 99% of the stuff that goes in it never gets bought anyway.
It would be better if along with the price rehaul, if the shop also reset on Wednesdays.
The last problem I'm going to address is the limited amount of items that can appear in the shop.
Heroics, Kaijus, Distinguisheds, etc all can not appear in the shop. Why? Those guns are all droppable end round, and on top of that they would actually be bought from the shop.

I think we should bring back COTD's ( Crate Of The Damnded ) because there is a godlike in there that people have but not alot of people sell them. I think it should be a limited item like Bone Crates and should also be a VIP Deals crate. There are also some pets in there like the bat pet. Let me know what you think

You must have proof!
Logical killing is not RDM.
Okay so now thats established, on ttt_nuclear_bunker on the fourth level from the top there is a large room with on entrance, ya know the one with the dead grass and trees, yeah that one. so there was a shotgun shot from said room, a player walks out holding a body, i walk in the room see the shotgun splatter, no bodies, no burn marks from either flare or teleport, no cloaked players in the room or exiting the room, no radio in the room. So through obvious logic with proof i kos the person carrying the body out of the empty room. Further proof i found this same player in the t tester room after hearing another shotgun shot and them iding a body immiedetly after the shotgun shot in the room with the body
So with proof is this logical killing or was it kos off location?
