  Oculus is Silly

In the past few days there have been quite a few Oculu's dropping. With this said, I believe I may have some ideas to make the gun less silly than it is currently. I know tobiaz has been toying/tuning the weapon but I feel there are some other things to take into consideration.

As of right now, the orb placed on the victim have far too much health, effect is too effective, and its too easy to spam. I believe that the suffix itself should go back to the chance of automatically proc'ing on people. I also think the proc should only be able proc'd one at a time. I've been seeing as much as 3 people walking around with the proc so the Oculus's owner is constantly healing, thus making them difficult to kill. This wouldnt be a problem if the orb didnt have so much health, and if the victim was warned that they were inflicted with the gun's suffix. Lastly, I want to talk about the effect itself, its really cool and I love the idea of depleting people's ammo and recieving health once its depleted. However, it's rate of depleting ammo is too great. I think if the victim were left with the ammo in their clip and one in reserve, it would make it far more balanced. Also, instead of the heal taking place once depleted, make it happen during the ammo depletion. I would love to see the effect last for a max of 8-9 seconds as well. I really love the idea, but I think these adjustments would make it more enjoyable for everyone.

  TMP's, the Trashiest of the Trash

Something that has disappeared from use is the TMP, I almost never see anyone using it due to how terrible it is. Much like the vector before the buff, it has terrible range. I understand its a smg but it has a much more severe damage drop off than the vector. For my tests, I have been using an Exalted TMP with 18.6% damage. Point blank, the TMP does 44 damage, after taking a few steps away (approximately 4 player models) the damage drops to 33, each step further away dropping it even more. At around 8 player models, it tops off at 19 damage. Given the slow firing nature of the TMP, I feel this damage is abhorent, especially given that other guns in its class fire much faster and do more damage. So perhaps a slight change the range and reduce the severity of the damage drop off if its fire rate is going to remain the same. I really love the model and the sound of the TMP and I really want to see more people using it.

  Prestigeable primordials

Soo I had an idea yesterday to make up for the "bad" primordial tiers which have gone out of favor due to time and newer and better tiers being released.

I thought of older tiers recieving stronger buffs than newer and more powerful tiers. Especially in their best or weakest stat.


Lets start with the relentless tier


Relentless (1)
+3% to maximum fire rate enhancement

Relentless (2)
+ 2% to maximum fire rate enhancement

Relentless (3)

adds a special trait to relentless tier. There is a 1/8 chance on kill to " become relentless" , granting a 1/5 chance to not shoot a bullet while firing the weapon for 6 seconds.



Demonic

Demonic (1)
+2% maximum damage

Demonic (2)

+2% to maximum fire rate

Demonic (3)

Adds a new trait to demonic, the user has a chance to purge all negative effects and become "demonic", allowing resistance to suffixes for a brief period of time.


Angelic (this tier is very hard to level. This will be reflected in the bonuses)

Angelic (1)

+5 % to reload enhancement (allowing for a quicker reload, more viable weapons)

Angelic (2)

+4% to maximum fire rate

Angelic (3)

Adds a special suffix to this tier, "Guardian Angel". The user has a 1/3 chance on kill to become immune to damage for .3 seconds. (this could be useful against headshots)


Cannabalistic

Cannabalistic (1)

+3 % to maximum damage

Cannabalistic (2)

+5% to maximum reload speed

Cannabalistic (3)

Adds a new trait, "Cannabilism". This trait becomes more powerful as the gun kills more people during the round. At 1 kill, the gun recieves a minor mobility buff of 5%. At 3 souls , this gun can eat one dna sample off of a body. At 5 souls, this gun can grant 1 health per bullet that hits a live target (like the wraith)


Will work on more tiers when I get time or if this idea is even welcomed. Just a brief taste of this idea

  Survival Minigames

I was thinking why not make a way to implement Tobias’ weather system and make survival disaster minigames. Depending on the weather it chooses there would be a chance for a disaster to spawn.

Rain would be tornado and Snow would be snowstorm. Winning these minigames you could get a pet or some other type of accessory. Maybe the thundergun from Black Ops 1 Zombies as a godlike? Thoughts?

I hate having minigames every three rounds because someone wants to troll and piss everyone off.

I want a chance for the easter minigames, not stock minigames that happen all the time.

Here's the link to the current lobby casino room, and it's textures.


The new casino should be as big as, or bigger than this. I would like to have sleek looking designs/textures, and possibly 'zones' for each type of casino game in the lobby, with room for more. Lots of areas for slots, etc. (I'm going to buff slot machines) You're free to change up the design as much as you want, but you should use actual casino's as references online. If you have ideas of where things should be placed, you should show examples.



Post your pictures and/or ideas for improvement on the casino.


I personally want more things to kill time with, maybe add radio support for a jukebox in the casino.
Arcade machine embedded with flash games. (could even be 25coins per use for coinsink)
More Cardgames, all merged into one table so the group playing could choose their game at their favourite table. (with small coin drops here and there for actively playing with other people)
Bar, for coins of course.

Also for TTT end round drops what if you have guns that drop only on certain days?
Like each day would have a certain unique primorial?
also make it like good the list / bad list for days. Like sunday gun would do better damage against monday gun

Loot goblin- Spawns a goblin miniboss

Maybe a unique boss will spawn once enough mini events happened?

PLS give more ideas for events that could have on unboxing day

What if when you aimed at them in lobby you could see thier titles (for all)
also if your a current record holder you get a title, a accessory, a small bonus of a 30 minute cooldown of the event you have record on?
also have a title for how many times youve done a event like the guns progress

Bar: Get drunk by spending coins, maybe by being drunk and doing certain bosses it gives bonus rng/special droptable for being harder difficulty.

Merge all cardgames into the same table and add more options, then let the first person on the table choose what game.
-More options could include Uno, Cards Against humanity.  (Having all of these give coins at small rates with a limit per day would increase people using them even more when they are waiting on CD for bosses)

YouTube/radio support. For casino music/karaoke.
