Right now, Gift Packages are such a scarcity for higher levels (Orbitals or not), that I'd like to see things change a tiny bit. Opening one and getting 70 coins or 200xp is pretty lame. Maybe it could be your level x5 in coins, and 5%-10% EXP? Just feels like it'll be better.
Also, I've -never- (at least I'm 99.5% sure) gotten XP from a gift package. Only crates, nothing, coins or inventory slots. Not sure why.
So, I always feel kinda bad for new players when all they've got is a starter famas and a pistol, and are trying to take out Deathbringer's and Tartarus'. I also like to give things out, but it can be a tedious process...So, I was thinking that leveling up could do something else.
Let's say when you reach Level 10 for the first time, and go to the Lobby server, you can use an NPC who'll let you grab something from a Barrel. The weapons inside range from unlikely to rare, e.g flamboyant, axistence, apocalyptic, decimating, stuff like that. Maybe Lightweights as well. These guns are put in by players, or, if a # of coins is donated to the Barrel, then it "spawns" a gun. You can only take one gun from this barrel, ever, but maybe it'll help new players out?
I'd like to dump all the Rares I have that just can't sell. I don't know, maybe its a stupid idea but if you could attach a badge to it to display how much you've donated to it, e.g bragging rights...Eh?
I am lvl 5 on the server now and I think I will be staying so I wanted to make an intro. My name is Robby. I think it is weird to be a furry or brony but I try to treat everyone equally. I go to college and enjoy almost all types of video games. I do not have a mic but plan to get one soon. Not sure what else to put here so yeah. I will see you guys on the server. When you aim down the sights of the sniper you move slightly faster then holding alt or whatever your walk key is. Another bug I found is when you aim down the sights of the sniper you have the walk sounds which makes you completley silent which I have no clue if thats a bug or not.
It'd be a crate you can get by putting your date of birth in your Bio. It contains coins and guns, but has only one tier of gun in the case: Celebratory, and could maybe contain a party hat (The cone one). EDIT: Could also be a crate you get on the day you got member.
The stats would be something like
+5 to everything (Except maybe clip.)
and might have a suffix that would be 1 in X chance to shoot confetti that could either explode on contact or pop out of your gun.
If a player disconnects while the team does the rock, no one can use either of the two reward chests.

im just really bored of gmod at the moment. I try to hop on sometimes but leave out of not wanting to play. I think i just will take a month or whatever break. so. yeah. Just making this so it doesn't seem like im leaving out of nowhere.
Can we seriously get the ability to sell accessories without being there in person? Maybe an npc you list them on in the lobby even.
(Works the same as market but you could only get your money by talking to npc.)
