hi. im halaman. but probably the only person that knows my irl name is coach. my name is JD. i live in illinois. i am mexican and american and a bunch of other stuff. i was born in illinois. i hang out with a certain friend group, in and out of ttt. ask me anything on here about me and you might get an answer i think.
Hello, my username is Reaver, as some of you may know, and I am 15 years of age. This introduction which I have debated feels long overdue at this point, so i'm just gonna dive into it...
My name is Keegan, I am from Kansas, but I currently reside in the boring state of Nebraska.
I play a large variety of games, just see my steam profile, and this is pretty much my second home at this point. I may disappear for days, but I'll resurface eventually.
If you need anything just ask, I can help with most things, and I am fairly knowledgeable at common topics.
I joined this community because I felt bored with the monotony of life, and I wanted something to do when my friends weren't online. I continuously grew attached to here, and made some friends. After this point, addiction occurred and I have been on here off and on for about a year and a half now.
I'm a sophomore in high school, so I will more than likely not be playing early on Monday to Friday, however I do try to be on most days if it doesn't conflict with my schedule.
That's pretty much it I guess, huh that was easier than I thought. If you want to know anything just ask, I don't believe there'll be a problem with any question.
P.S. I may regret this, but here's a pic of me from a couple months back, cheers.
Hi, everyone!
God, it's been a while. First off I'd like to say I'm glad the server's still up. It makes me very happy to see that this community is thriving. You guys were the most fun I'd ever had in a video game, and I'd hope anyone who plays on FRG servers shares my opinion.
Second, It's good to see that while there are new faces, the old dudes are still here. Tobias, Unpoke, I've seen you on the forums just tonight, not to mention all the other names I haven't read.
Third, I just wanna know how everyone's doing. It's been years (I think) and I really haven't kept up with any of the people I used to spend most of my nights with. I hope everything's going well.
Thanks for your time, and I hope your time in the community continues to be great.
Would you like your ban shortened or repealed?: Shortened by about 6-9 months if possible
Reason for ban: Saying "nigger" multiple occasions
Did you commit the actions stated in the ban reason?: Yes
Additional details: I beleive i said "nigger" on two occasions, but it wasent targeted at anyone, and there was no one online who was offended, the person who banned/reported me clearly just used it as a excuse to get me off the server, since i did not direct harm to anyone.
The current state of the Eleos encourages people to use the exploit so its actually viable. You shouldn't have to use an exploit to make a gun actually worth using.
The left click does so little damage (15 to the body and 40 to the head) it pales in comparison to a normal pistol, deagle, and even the glock when it comes to DPS output. While the right click is slightly more powerful, it normally only brings people down to wounded on a point blank shot, while also making it so you have to wait longer to shoot.
Its combination of low damage, firerate and accuracy make it a very weak pistol compared to everything else. It should at least be able to two hit headshot, considering the Frostburn, which are more accurate, have more firerate, and does more damage is able to.

Staff Against Toxicity
As a staff member, how are you able to deal with toxicity? It's a subjective matter that tends to be common on the internet, so what draws the line between trolling and actual harm? How do you punish it in a fair-seeming way and when's the appropriate time to do so?
I'm cutting down to three subjects to deal with these events:
1.) Toxicity in Reports 2.) Direct Toxicity 3.) Indirect Toxicity
These three areas can only be enforced within an official Garry's Mod FRG server.
As you know, we have a direct rule against this form of toxicity: » No Toxicity in RDM Reports.
Being toxic in a RDM report (insulting the other player, or anything like that), will usually end up in the report being closed, or ruled in favor of the other party. If both parties are toxic, both may be punished. (via slays, kicks, or bans)
This absolutely must be enforced. Even if the victim is justified in their rage, whether it be a clear RDM or a t-buddy killed him or whatever the case, talking to people in a malicious way can not be tolerated.
A first offense should be a clear verbal warning, a second offense should void the report, a third offense should slay the perpetrator, and a fourth leads to an official toxicity warning*. If it continues, contact an administrator..
As an administrator, it's your duty to find the cause of the dispute and diffuse it. A verbal administrative warning** should suffice. If it continues past that, they will be banned for a week as well as given another toxicity warning*.
**Administrative warnings come after the three-step regular warning process if you are the one giving it. It helps to clarify that it is now an administrative warning.
Direct toxicity is the most commonly seen type of toxicity and comes in many forms: Harassment, arguing, peeving and general malicious targeting (i.e following a player around after a dispute). There will be disputes among players throughout the course of the game - that's simply what comes with a game of lying and deception, and that's okay to do. What's not okay is when players escalate the argument to where it becomes personal.
You are picked as staff because your judgement is trusted; use that judgement to determine what's malicious.
On first offense, a verbal warning should be given. Depending on the situation, the next warning should either be another verbal warning or a round-long mute/gag. Nobody likes not being able to talk, so that should get their attention. After that, you're free to kick them and give them a toxicity warning*. If the dispute continues, contact an administrator.

Talking maliciously behind people's back on the servers is just as bad as saying it while they're on. Any shit talking players should not be tolerated. It's okay to have opinions of someone, but keep it in your brain or your privacy.

Warning System:
All regular warnings should stay in effect for 1 week.
Administrative warnings are to be kept for 2 weeks and count as a regular warning during that time. Try to keep track of those and communicate them if possible.
Toxicity warnings should be logged in the Problematic Players thread. They will last 1 month. Please mark them - communication is the key to success.
Toxicity warning bans are permanently on a players record. 3 Toxicity warnings will result in a 2 month ban and a demotion/removal of rank. 2 toxicity warning bans will result in a permanent ban.
This is being posted publicly to hopefully tell you what NOT to do and to go into depth of what is considered toxicity.
