this is just for my recordkeeping, if someone tells me in discord that they want to join, that message will be lost within the hour and i may forget.

Everyone should participate, even new players or people who cant think of something to give!
there are certainly items you can give which would be good gifts.


on the weekend of December 4th or 5th, or however long it takes for "enough" participants, I'll randomly roll a name for each person.
You are their "Secret Santa" and will trade me the item you wish to gift to them, after I have DMed you their name on discord.

it is very very highly encouraged that the item you gift isn't "worthless" and you'd be happy receiving it in turn. If everyone gives really bad gifts- the whole event is moot.

these gifts will be handed out to the recipients around 2 weeks from now, on December 11th, any time i am on which will probably mostly be that evening.
Additionally, courtesy of KittyPrincess, myself, and any other generous gifters who would like to contribute (DM ME IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO CONTRIBUTE),
there will be a "BONUS GIFT" pool to ensure that no one receives a "bad" gift.

Echo Dart
   

Primary fire:
- Launches a dart (projectile speed lower than dart gun. Holding the "use" key will charge the launch power. Higher launch power will grant speed and trajectory bonuses but remove the ability to bounce).
- Adheres to the first surface it comes into contact with but can bounce once depending on the angle of impact. If this hits a player it cannot bounce if it hits a player in the head that player is actively highlighted through walls for the duration of the darts life.
- Once the dart has been stuck to a surface it will let out a pulse. Functioning almost identically to Echo shot's trait except for the pulse itself is visible to everyone while the people caught in the pulse are only visible to the person who fired the dart.

Secondary fire:
- destroys the dart (applies a 30-second cooldown)
- upon manually destroying the dart anyone marked by the pulse and still within its radius are actively highlighted through walls for 5-15 seconds depending on proximity to the dart. Killing a highlighted player halves the cooldown.





Dart stats for balance:
- 1 dart per reload and can only be reloaded when no cooldown is active
- time between pulses = 1 second?
- HP = 20-25 (deteriorates 1 per pulse)
- Instantly destroyed by discombobs, fire, explosion damage, and trophy grenades
- applies a 10-second cd when destroyed by people other than the person that fired it

Add Wintermansion back into map pool because its a good map.  Its better than summermansion and it fits better with Christmas event than summermansion.  Its also a great map for sneaky kills and sniping. Also Winter > Summer.

I don't know the context for the first one, but the second & third happened after I ignored him after he added me. He immediately became extremely toxic towards me afterwards.
The first picture is not directed towards me but the other two are.

Durin's Barrage



Primary slot Melee Weapon

Hold Left click to punch opponents, dealing 20 damage per hit. You punch at 6 punches per second.

Hold right-click to charge up an explosive punch, dealing 125 damage (enough to one tap vit crystal users) and healing for 80% of damage dealt. Holding a charged punch slightly slows you, and has a visual and audio cue. Explosive punches have a slightly longer recovery time before you can go back to punching/charging.

Click E to perform a dash. While dashing, dodge any incoming ranged weapon damage (but not melee). Left-click to end a dash early and attack. Dashing cancels attack recoveries. Dashes with these gauntlets are like trib dashes, not like warrior dashes. I want them to be short-ranged to be able to close small distances. Again, you only dodge ranged damage during the dash.

After dealing 100 damage, your next dash is upgraded to a lethal dash. While you're in a lethal dash, right-click to end the dash and instantly use an explosive punch. Kills/100 Damage Dealt with a lethal dash punch instantly recharges your lethal dash. Lethal dashes have the old warrior dash effect (After images behind the person dashing)

Getting a kill with explosive punches turns the victim into a skeleton just like Executioner's Axe does.

Durin's Bane set bonus: Explosive punches will explode with the effect of the grenade slotted in Durin's Bane.

Try to use an explosive punch to quickly charge your lethal dash, then cancel the explosive punch recovery by dashing and chain your dashes by killing multiple targets.

In PvE, an explosive punch should be enough damage to start lethal dashes, if you can keep cancelling your recoveries and attack with dashes constantly this weapon should be able to do top tier DPS. Using this against mobs though can be strong, however dashing into enemies in trib/hardmode dilap especially can be extremely risky.
