I get almost the same thing except my computer freezes instantly when the Facepunch logo comes up. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling GMod, turning off firewalls, anything I could think of except throwing my computer against a wall.

Hold me, I can't bear to live without Gmod *sob*

EDIT: HUZZAH I HAVETH FIXED IT!

I deleted Steam off my PC, but Steam bugged out and didn't actually delete itself, I reinstalled it twice and when I started my PC it deleted itself again and updated in the process removing all of my steam games (About 1.8 TB of games lmao) Now to re-download them all... Woo...
