Here's an idea:
You can donate IRL money & then to get "Wallet Cash" in-game, with which you can buy donator features - You would also be able to buy stuff from the market - Imagine a market, where you can upload your items for some price - Coins, Item Offers (requires posting), and Wallet cash ($).
Keep in mind IRL cash CAN be turned into Wallet cash, but Not Vice-Versa.

I'm doing something kind of similar, but not really.

Their donation will be converted to a 'donator currency'. This currency is non-tradeable. It is used to buy Item crates, and what ever else I decide to put on the donator store in game(most likely rolls, and vanity items)

This way, they can mix and match different item crate series, and what ever else from the donation shop, without donating and getting all of the same type.

I.e. 25 dollar donation will turn into 2,500 donation points, and it will be ~250 for a single item crate? Maybe?

That system would be good, since you cannot trade for it. It wouldn't GUARANTEE "Profit" simply by donating, it'd be a "Thank you, enjoy this in return!".

I like that because then donators aren't guaranteed an extremely good gun.
