true but does the game allow you to run your own server?? if so i can see good servers having hack detects and it could change it up a lot, even steam ban someone who is hacking, and maybe ip ban if thats possible .

You can not host your own servers for H1z1. That would lead to better hacks because hackers could just put up a private server to test their hacks out, to make sure they 100% work before releasing.(but also as you said, people could write their own anti-cheats for it too)

Otherwise, they may get banned in the process of testing them on a real server(when the anti-cheat goes live).
