Have you ever been banned and why?: yes, I don't remember why but it was when I first started playing and it was only like for a week.

Why would you like to be promoted?: I'm usually on the server pretty late and during those times there is for the most part little to no staff on and i'd like to be able to help out when others may be unable/unavailable to do so.

Why do you think we should promote you?: Due to my past experiences as staff, I've dealt with some pretty unusual and hard to solve situations so I think that I have the experience to do my job to Its full potential and would love to have the opportunity to do so.

Do you agree to FRG's policy on applications(yes or no): Yes.

Do you have any administrative experience?: Yes, I was Admin on Moat. And co-owner a long time ago on a server that is long since dead.

Additional Details: I work 12pm - 6pm 5 days a week and 12pm - 5pm on Saturdays but other than that im usually on the server or at least online. *I had a discussion with Unpoke a while ago and worked out some issues such as rdming and propkilling and from now on that won't be a problem.*

I think I've reached the end of my days at FRG. It's been a good run I've made some good friends and I'm sure a few enemies.

From when i first joined back in 2015 not knowing what an inventory server was. To becoming staff and then remorsefully losing my staff role at my own hand.

All the memes all the rng and most importantly the family I felt i was apart of here I won't ever forget but unfortunately times move on and so do the people we meet I just happen to be the next to move on from here.

I will be on for maybe a few days more just to finish a scroll for someone but after that I think I need to move on and get on with my life.

I'll remember yall in therapy. Have your best life. <3 Knight.

So I might not be able to play Gmod for a while. My old AF computer finally comitted sepuku and it looks like I might not be able to fix it, and until I figure out what is wrong with the graphics card in my newer custom PC i'm not going to be able to play gmod at all though I will leave steam open for messages and still visit the forums.
Onto a scarier note did you know my driver's licence makes me look like a potential child molester? No, well you do now.

Have you ever been banned and why: I have not been banned

Why would you like to be promoted?: Currently I have been playing on FRG for 300+ hours and in that time I have found that the community is a nice place to find friends and groups and enjoy playing both TTT and the events in lobby. I am looking to be able to give back and help out with keeping things orderly in TTT and help take some of the load off of other +members with all the reports that come in.

Why do you think we should promote you?: From what I've seen there are many hours where +members are offline or unreachable and it leaves moderate windows of time open where reports and rdm's go unattended. Along with that I've also been noticing many more new players joining the community and as a result there has been a higher number of reports. Sometimes there is only one or two +members on that have to deal with a large amount of reports and I think it would be nice to help reduce the amount of report traffic that stacks up when fewer +members are on.

Do you have any administrative experience: two to three years ago I was a moderator on Beast TTT for 2-3 months.

  Change Lyrus fight.

The problem with Lyrus isn't just the boss, but the players. The whole fight is to get more 1s than everyone else, even if it means throwing out some of the eggs people use. This could easily be solved by making it so Lyrus can't take any damage when the orbs are up.

Another problem is being targeted. Being targeted means you literally die, basically no questions asked. You might get lucky and it might switch, but people will die and it's out of their control. Lyrus does just too much damage quickly when he does the three slams towards someone.

Having the godlike drop based on place is a bad idea for an event like this because of the two thing above. I know it's only to prevent it from dropping to a person who did no work (presumably because they died too quickly due to lyrus targeting).

While we're at it, kraken still can be shot at during the "all tentacles just went down" phase.

  A new way to open crates

This idea came to me when I posted on Terran's thread about changing the way the mapvotes work.
My idea is to make opening crates more of an automatic process. Though my idea here will change a lot, hopefully the essence of it gets through.

In the attempt to balance the economy and keep people opening crates, there's too many crates.
People dont want to do minigames unless they get stuff from it, so loot gets buffed and eventually has to get buffed again, and you get the idea.
For instance, winning IoD gives you a surplus of 100 crates w/ a rune of looting, so you can see my point.

So unless Brassx intends to do a complete coin rework and crate rework to get stuff to how it used to be, the main issue I find is that it's way too strenuous to open all these crates.
My proof:
Big crate openings used to be a big thing because it took effort to save up a bunch of crates. Now it's as if if anyone decides its time to open their crates its like a whole event in of itself. Myself even, the only time I open crates is when I have a ton of homework late at night and I can manage to make keys every 5 or so minutes to clear inventory.
so, my proposal:

Have an automatic crate opening feature. There would be a side bar to the right of your inventory, and you could set all the crates you have in a que to open at the top. They would open and not link drops you get in chat unless they're prim+ or suffixed, and it would notify you once everything has opened.
You would have the ability to click an item, and retrieve it from the side menu to put in your inventory. You would be given a filter, so say you want everything right into your inventory, you could disable the filter; or say you're super rich $$ and only want what's prim+, you could set the filter to that; or say you're the common joe or a collector, you could say "Hey i only want Faithful UMPs as an uncommon from this crate". (this might be a bit to do, and if so just have rarity filters and suffix/trait filters, so if you get a double suffix uncommon it would keep it).

With the filter would come this largely requested idea: the portable key maker.
Now, this could be VIP only or w/e brassx wants to do, but the portable key maker would basically make crate opening super clean.
Everything that gets swept out by the filter would be que'd to the key maker, so as soon as you got 10 of a filtered out rarity you would have a key made. And so forth.

Now, this is only if Brassx is to continue the trend of just throwing up coins onto crates. He could make it so only some certain crates are que-able, or he could attach this system to banks to give more use to them, or w/e.
The point is just that opening crates is strenuous and tiresome. Whenever I do grims, if I get more than 5 item crates im selling them for 1 coin each on the market or deleting them because I can't bother to get 5 common weapons and delete them because I cant make them into a key on their lonesome, and I dont want to spend 5 more coins to get a T1 key.

  A change to the map voting screen

First of all, we should have 6 voting options, not 4. Also, considering how fun, say, Hunter rounds are yet how rare they are, here's a proposed change

There's a chance for maps on the selection screen to "Preview" what might show up. I.E if someone on the server has it as a challenge, it'll have a little [C] symbol under it. Or, if the map has an [H], there's a higher chance for a Hunter round. [D] for Dragon, [S] for Spider, [M] for Minigame (orbital, bouncy, infection, e.t.c).

Because, like, I think hunter rounds are super cool, but I haven't seen one in a really long time. This would also help with getting those damned challenge maps.

  Fishing to level 20. My Experience.

Over the last week or so I have started taking fishing a lot more seriously. Some of the stats that I kept while leveling up to level 20.

Rusty Keys snagged: 1 (I got a rodrodrodrodrodrodrodrodrodrodrodrodrodrodrodrodrodrodrod)

Fishing rods snagged: 3 prims and 1 legendary (incandescent, incandescent, immovable, and hyper)

Challenge Scrolls Snagged: 2 Mediums

Sharks Caught: 3 (3 prims)

Eels caught: 2 (both legendary)

Kraken Disturbed: 0

Fish Bucks Made: ~15,000

Most Used Rod: Soulcatcher (Thanks MicroBoss for letting me borrow it.)

Most Used Lure: Lure 01 (I used it once Lures are a waste of fish bucks IMO)

What I liked the most: Fishing is just slow enough to play other games.

What I disliked the most: Terranables feel so bad to snag because they do not give xp. Also, you gain Fish Bucks slowly but while there is really nothing to buy its okay.

Some of my hopes for the fishing update: Fishbuck crates won't be impossibly expensive. They either need to be very cheap or fishbucks need to be more obtainable. If they are 100 or more fish bucks it will be impossible to master the crate. Honestly, fishing is almost useless currently they only things of value are enraged eye (which you don't get directly from fishing) and rusty key ( Most of the time you get a Fishing rod that is almost useless and worth nothing). I hope in the future that fishing is somewhat worth it. I understand that it can't give a lot of loot because it is very easy (but time-consuming), but some loot or a way to get loot (maybe exclusive for the higher level so people have to go through the grind others did).

Anyways fishing was mostly awful, my index finger hurts, and I never want to do it again.

PS I used a Kraken lure and a half writing this and still no Kraken I'm cursed to never get one.
