Infection Changes

  • Infected now no longer have collisions with other Infected.
  • Infected players can now see other infected players easier.

  • Infected will now respawn at a spawnpoint selected using a brand new procedural generated spawn point system. (This can be used for multiple things, It's a bit similar to how collection quests make spawns, but more weighted). It will try and ignore any spawn that is less than 1024 units from a Human.
  • When the round starts, infected are killed and re-spawned to a random location.
  • Infected can no longer lunge at teammates.
  • Fixed post-round report stating who won incorrectly.

Fixes
  • Fixed some bugs with the cloak.
  • Fixed some bugs with the Esoteric X249.
  • Fixed enhanced items starting at level, thus not allowing you to get the last EP.
  • Fixed weapon enhancement report rounding Xp gained.

I was thinking something similiar to ntgs boss but instead of an antlion it could be a deathclaw or Giant Headcrab.It would be like any other event round in the fact that the top 3-5 get look based on the damage that they do but the boss should get loot to the number of people on just like their health is based on the number of people on. This could happen on any map instead of just dragon maps. It could have a weapon or sometype of special weapon that only rarely drops from that type of round. This would be impossible if the people would not use teamwork to takedown the boss.

Changes

  • The Prop disguiser now has a 'recharge' rate on it's timer, rather than instantly resetting to 25 seconds upon re-disguise.
  • Optimized cloaks, they should run much better now.
  • Optimized player accessory render states more (on TTT only at the moment for testing).
  • Something I forgot to mention previously(I believe), but you can disable weapon skins via the console command: br_disable_skins 1
  • Added a new option to settings that sets how much XP you need to gain to show the post-round Player XP report.

  • Fixed -1 rounds left bug where the mapvote doesn't trigger.
  • Optimized player loading to help reduce stutter.

About a few minutes ago, we were playing a hunter round on Community Pool Overhaul and CannibalNaziSpider was the hunter and during the round he was totally covered in blood, ruining his invisibility and his chance of winning.

  heroic shotgun Is bugged on Infected

The problem is, heroic shotgun can hurt other non-infected people and make them lost hp. And 3/22/17 the infected game mode broken in which everyone died and the round don't end.i really would like the infected game mode to be fix so we can enjoy it. Thank you


There may be other guns that do that, but i only know about the heroic shotgun

Additions

  • Added new minigame Infection (Heavily inspired by Halo's Zombie variant)
    Details:
    • It's Infected vs Humans.
    • A few players are selected to start off as 'infected'.
    • Infected can only use a custom Energy sword that deals 120 damage.
    • Infected have 50 HP.
    • Humans can use their loadouts and spawn with 512 ammo.
    • 10 minute round timer.
    • Once a Human dies, they become 'infected'.
    • 10 second Respawn timer for Infected.
    • Infected are cloaked slightly and have lower gravity.
    • Top 3 players are determined by this formula, highest score = best:
      • If starting as human, + 1 score every 25 seconds, + 1 score every 10 zombie kills THEN +1 score every 1.2 human kills as a zombie (when you get infected)
      • if starting as zombie, +2 score per human kill

Changes
  • Most minigame rounds now subtract 1 round from 'rounds left'.


Fixes
  • Fixed an issue causing some T activated buttons to not work properly on some maps.

  • The energy sword can now be swung anywhere, and will break glass and such. It will only remove ammo upon lunging.
    It will also display "Lunge!" on screen when you can lunge at someone.
  • Energy sword's lunge range has been increased.
  • Fixed an uncommon bug causing a crate to display all godlikes when you roll a godlike.
  • Buffed lobby coin slot machine drops.
  • Prop disguiser should now return credits and previously bought equipment properly.
  • Adjusted hunter round HP formula slightly.
  • Fixed inventory skins on the Lobby server.
  • Fixed snowglobe exploit on hunter rounds.
  • Fixed bug that happens when opening crates, stopping the crate animation from playing, making you need to rejoin.
  • Fixed a possible memory leak with inventory slot displays.
