So when you use a rune of greater replenishing you can put a fishing rod in there, so I decided to try it out because I wanted to see if it could repair my rod. Instead of it repairing my rod it just said "Performing" and I couldn't exit out of the popup, so I had to rejoin the server.

just dont do that and it wont happen, rune of replenishing is for crystals
