Major GMOD error - over half a year of no fixes

#1

I have had this specific error since atleast jan 2016.

I have done everything on that, searched online, talked to both steam and facepunch support. (Which both tell me to talk to the other, 10/10 support ggnore)

It prevents me from running gmod about 98% of the time when i try to launch it.

Anyone got any tips/clues on how to fix this bullshit?

Lets see, did you try
Making sure that Steam is up-to-date?
Making sure that steam is actually running?
Restarting your PC?
Deleting system 32?
Deleting the "ClientRegistry.blob" file and then restarting steam?
Deleted Garry's Mod local content?

If you solved it via that, please let us know! :)

Are you running Mac/Linux? It's popular for those, and if nothing is working like Terran posted, then I have no clue, I'm sure you've bought the game lol.

Terran was trolling, I have owned the game almost for like 8+ years. Litterally im looking for some mystical "do this do that, and also that" to fix it. Not some "hey read the image you mook".

I have tried everything possible to fix this, it wont go away.

Hardware is not the issue with this. My pc is entirely capable of running gmod like 4 times over with no problems. (that would be if gmod would allow itself to be run at the same time without a workaround)

this happened to me once. all i had to do is reinstall gmod compleatly.

if that dont work
it might be a hardwear problem. not that your comp cant run it. maybe you jsut have a lemon part, somthing went bad, old, or just broke.

Hardware problem wouldn't lead to a NoSteamUser issue, it's literally impossible that it would happen due to that.

@Kheyre: You didn't answer my question if you are using mac/linux or not.

Would of thought deleting ClientRegistry.blob would of solved all the problems but I guess not.

Also did you try reinstalling steam completely?
