Lots of Gmod crashes, ideas?

#1
Exclamation
So ive had issues with gmod crashing alot lately. I tried removing and unsubbing from all addons and clean installing gmod. Seemed to work fine but now its at it again. Anyone got any ideas? They seem to be random and can happen at any point.

To those that might can read them.. I do have the crash dump files..only these two so far since the clean install

Delete Gmod, and not just off of steam, purge your entire Steam Folder.
That should work, also, disable mods that you are not using.

Do you have any anti-viruses running in the background or any other programs that could possibly interfere with gmod?

Does it crash when you do something specific? Or does it just seem random? If you play in fullscreen I'd suggest changing to borderless windowed mode (have to add -windowed -noborder to launch options in steam), and see if that helps anything.

Just default Windows 10 anti-virus. I never use them, never have needed them

It seems random, though before I cleaned out my addons it was doing it every 5 mins or so. Didn't matter what server i was on it would do this. The last thing that crashed me was i pulled out an orbital and suddenly HL2 has stopped responding. The stopped responding crash has been the most common, but sometimes It will just close Gmod with no warning or anything, just instant desktop
