Alright guys heres..... the motherfuckin......tea

amsterville is a great map and you fucks who want it gone are just bad at playing ttt how it was made to be played. It has areas great for discrete sniping, plenty of nooks and crannies to hide in, lots of turns and tight hallways for close quarters combat. Just because the rounds may take a little longer doesnt mean its big delay. Grow some patience. Smile

That being said, i am in full support of the democratic map voting process and if the community votes to remove it then, although a tragedy, it must be removed Sad

As for piranesi, I honestly can't remember a time ive played it.

I didn't want to flame or turn this thread into arguing. You could have simply messaged me this on steam but i suppose i could do the same and am choosing not to. I marked your post as dumb because a map can run perfectly fine and cause no gameplay issues but still be bad. flatgrass runs fine and causes no gameplay issues. you seem to think if it doesnt have frame issues then its fine for the server. Here are a few examples of maps that run fine but aren't good.

and its also as if you didnt read my OP because i said this... " My thought process is that we need to get rid of some subpar maps so we can see the maps we love actually show up more often in the mapvote. We currently have 146 maps in the map pool. That's quite substantial and really hinders us from playing the GREAT maps more often due to the way our mpavote works. I feel ttt_amsterville should stay, if people say it's too dark I'd be fine using the daylight version. I know servers that have both day and night versions.

Pretty sure he means bugs. Such as global door sounds, t traps that kill bunch of people, etc.

Keep both maps, I love all the default CSS maps since that's how I got into PC gaming. They have a special place in my heart. Might be bland but I don't care, i love them all but Havana lmao

Amsterville sucks, it's like piranesi but bigger and dark. If you think about it we'll, both map basically have the same kind of layout.

I'm for keeping both. They're perfectly fine and we don't even go to piranesi that much. Both maps let all weapons function without conflict. Honestly, it's not bad that they have separate areas either.

Amsterville is a pretty decent map, lots of space but not too much and plenty of locations throughout. Doesn't take too long to learn it, and is usually pretty fun. +1 to keep

Piranesi is a bit harder to learn and feels a bit more bland than Amsterville, but generally isn't too bad of a map to play on, but I can understand why people would want to remove it, so I'll abstain from voting for this one.
