Yeah, they don't. You do lethal damage and then they instantly pop into existence and can shoot you down, its incredibly annoying. You waste a massive amount of time and ammo, but if you don't kill the snowman, they're going to follow and ice you and call you out. Its a T death sentence anyways, its a terrible inno-weapon concept.
