A Synthetic Problem- New Event

#1
So, I had an idea for a new event, kind of piggybacking off of the concept of quest items. This new event would be a two part experience, and would require a more dedicated group to complete. The first section of this quest would be similar to a round of survive, where you have to eliminate all of the enemies, preferably using the gen-1 synth models from FO4. There would be about 20 of them, spawning in two groups of ten, with around 250 health each. After killing all of them, each party member will receive 1-5 Shiny Parts, an item similar to the Ancient Key. These shiny parts would be non-tradable and non-marketable, and you'll each need 40 of them. The cool down for completing this part of the event would be an hour, for it only pays out quest items, and the twist is that the second part of this event would consume the items. That means that after everybody in your party gets their 40, you will each use your 40 shiny parts to attempt the final boss. The items are consumed regardless of whether or not you beat the boss, and none of them will be refunded. Now, what's so special about this boss? Why is it so costly, and why would anybody want to waste their time on this?

Whelp, the final boss, preferably using something mechanical as its skin, can be done as a solo or group boss. It's loot isn't going to be something worth skimping on, either. It's going to not drop weapons, but rather, weapon parts. You are guaranteed 1 weapon part on success, along with the chance of some coins or even the chance at any of the crates that the server has had on it at any given time. These crates will have weighted RNG, making them roll lower value items more consistently, so is the price to pay for their revival. These parts will be of the Primordial-Godlike tiers, but they'll be useless on their own, and they can't be put in keys. Something about them just prevents that from happening. They need a catalyst, something to bind them together and make them work. Something like an Ancient Gemstone, for example.

The [Insert Name of Villain Here] has been working on creating a Synthetic Gemstone {Orange-tinted version of the Ancient Gemstone, Primordial rarity} that would bind these weapon parts together, unfortunately not strong enough to bind other Godlike weapons together, but it is really rare. This Synthetic Gemstone would be a 1/20000 drop, but it has enough power to be a catalyst for three weapon creations, after that it crumbles apart, but it is rumored that it can be charge with two full crystals. Something in the villain's journal spoke about Rebounding and Dimension crystals would, at full power, give an extra use to the Synthetic Gemstone, but it would take a skilled Crystal Salesman and hour to pull it off, leaving the Crystals empty. Though, as an issue stated by the villain in their journal, the Synthetic Gemstone isn't able to combine the strongest weapon parts together, something that is unique to the Ancient Gemstone. However, using the Ancient Gemstone to bind Godlike weapon parts expends all of its energy, making it a one time use.

Now that the base of the idea is laid out, time for more of the details. The weapon parts, of which you need four to make a primary, and two to make a secondary, are modular items. Each one would be used in calculating the range of stats for the weapon, which would be an averaged value. Each part will have four stats on it, ranging from positive or negative 1-50% stats, the only stat that would be lower is mobility, sitting at a 1-20% positive or negative stat. If a weapon has a stat that doesn't get altered at all, RNG rolls for a random number between 1-20, and then rolls a number between 1-10, if x<6, stat is negative percentage, if x> or =6, stat is positive value. Each weapon part can, in fact, spawn with suffixes and traits, but only one on each weapon. When these parts are added together to make a weapon, those traits and suffixes are on the new weapon, making primaries able to have a max of three, and secondary a max of two. These weapons will roll similar to keys. Each part doesn't make a specific type of gun, that would be a little too easy. When you hand these weapons parts in to Arvid, so as to let them be bound together, you have an hour until he has finished your weapon. When you collect it, the game will roll the weapon type, using a small random roll to decide, such as shotguns=1, snipers=2, M1 garands=3, H.U.G.Es= 4, and so on, until every number is assigned a weapon type, and then the game applies those stat ranges to the weapon type, giving you an enchanceable of that type. The tier would be Synthetic [Weapon Name Here], and they are levelled up by putting Shiny Parts into them. 20 of them for every level, but the gun will max out at level +20, effectively making the need for 400, or 80 of those event runs, should you get 5 every time. The gun can max out all but four stats, but will have everything, including its traits and suffixes, listed as an increasable stat.

This means that Deploy speed will be an adjustable stat on the gun, which also means you can get it as a negative value on parts. The traits and suffixes will all take 1 points to get to their lowest abilities, but doing so will lock a random trait off of the gun, and the suffixes have to be levelled up before any of the stats. This could be done by a check function that will check what the original stats of the gun are, and if they don't equal the previous stats, all suffixes get locked off. This means that you could get a perfect chance on one or two suffixes, but you then can leave the third trait alone, and actually level the rest of the gun up. The baseline stats of the gun are 1/5 of their max, each of them taking 3 levels to max out, making it possible to max out all but three stats, for each gun has 8 stats, and three of them can't be touched. If you upgrade your suffixes, and max out your five stats, you'll end at level 18, but with no more skills to increase because of the random stats that get locked off because of increasing suffixes.

Now, you're probably wondering about the Godlikes, what they would be like. Well, they can be one of two things. I like the concept of allowing the user to get Synthetic versions of pre-existing Godlikes, allowing for interesting new stats to appear on a gun that looks like an Onuris. However, these Synthetic versions wouldn't have the traits of the Godlike they are mimicking in appearance, they would have whatever traits the parts that were inputted would give, and each Godlike part is guaranteed to have a trait or suffix on it. This means you could get a Synthetic Onuris of the Pheonix that has the Thrakos trait instead of the Onuris ball. The only guns that would be exempt are the Bows, for they wouldn't be made by gun parts. These Godlikes would also follow the same policy as the Synthetic Primordial tier, but would just be more powerful and overall more odd combinations.

However, there is a chance to get one of the unique Godlikes that would come with this event, but it requires the sacrifice of a Grimoire, that doesn't have a page in it, to ensure that you get one of these weapons. You can get them as a 1/10000 chance from the creation of a Synthetic tier using Godlike parts, but the magic from the Grimoire is enough to boost the Ancient Gemstone to guarantee one of these unique Godlikes. It will, however, destroy the Grimoire.

The first Unique is the P.R.O. Rifle. It's a sniper rifle that has some good stats (up for deliberation), but has something very special. It has a 1 in 10, at lowest possible, to immediately burn the body of the person it kills. The flavor text would be something like "Sending Terrorists to hell since 2017" or some other flavorful text. This rifle would need a new model, preferably something futuristic in appearance, but not too gawdy.

The second Unique is the Organic Limb, a melee weapon that has a 1 in 5, at lowest chance, to cause the Grip effect on a person. This effect slows a person down by 50%, and causes damage over time to the afflicted individual. If it kills that person, it teleports that body to the person who hit them. The flavor text could be something like "And this is only my left hand!" or something else. The texture could be a zombie hand or something.

There are a few others I have in mind, but I've already made a decently long post, so maybe more on that later.
