Three things I've figured out with the bow, I only just remembered to record the third one.
You can keep your gun zoomed in if you drop the bow while its charged. (You see this in the video)
You can keep your special ability active if you toss it on the ground while its charged and pick it up again. This leads to low power shots for the same time it would be active that are able to use the special power.
There's this semi-complicated set up with high reward.
First: Charge the bow.
Second: Toss down the bow and bring out your secondary.
Third: If you switch to the bow while holding right click, you get a fully charged bow to instantly shoot.
