I don't know how to title this

#1
Hey sorry if this seems sort of out of the blue, but I needed to make this post. I've honestly been struggling for the last month with how to make this post. This is a post about me and I find it really hard to talk about myself and what to include and all of the little details are sort of all over the place.
I'm not quitting, I don't want your sympathy, I honestly just want to share how I feel and tell you guys a story about myself and give you my thanks.

Back when I first departed in 2015 I was honestly in a bad spot, I was constantly sick and had spent a month before that just recovering. I've been terribly sick since I was 15, apparently I had bad luck with my genes as what I have is rare (Bad RNG IRL). I had been all over to every doctor, every specialist and it's only gotten worse and worse. Looking back at my situation I honestly was just deeply depressed and wanted any kind of change. So I departed without much of an explanation.

I did some things in the meantime but nothing changed, except for me not being here.

This went on until last year November 17th 2015. I won't go into too much detail, but what ended up is that this which disease targets areas where skin touches itself or overlaps, showed up on my head, neck and armpit. I had quite a hard time breathing and I was unable to move my arm for roughly a month. I've had surgery before for similar reasons, but this time it was so severe that I had to have the entirety of my armpit removed.

Now let me enlighten you on how you recover from losing an armpit, as that does not grow back. I had about a month in and out of the wound clinic where every two days I would meet with some incredibly nice ladies and they would rip a wound-vac from my arm and replace it. It was by far the most painful experience in my life to date. I eventually had skin grafted from my leg onto the area after it had recovered enough. The skin graft took hold at a 99% ratio, and it was honestly the best day I've had in a while at that point.

Here's where this gets really interesting and where I'm going to tie up this story. The area in my armpit where it had affected me had done something to my ulnar nerve leaving the side of my hand feeling incredibly dull and numb. There wasn't much that could be done about that medically, but while I was recovering I decided to play on FRG a bit at one point.

All I wanted to do at that point was just try out using my mouse and keyboard, see if anything was off with my arm or hand. But I ended up having fun again. I played for a bit, talked with people and was pretty happy, I came back the next day and did the same thing. I honestly did not expect to come back after I departed.

When I started playing here again, I stopped feeling the pain, I stopped feeling the numbness, I forgot about being sick, and I started having fun again. I honestly have to thank you guys for being a place where I don't have to worry about being sick.

This community makes me feel welcome and allows me to just be myself and that's something I haven't had in a long time, so I know now that no matter what happens in the future I will never fully depart ever again.

I want to thank you each individually but this is the best I could do after putting it off for a month.

Thank you FRG!
