I just can't recreate this. It's super hard to fix something when you can't recreate it, or know why it happens. The system works great for me.
Perhaps try to bind J to 'br_inspect_weapon' by typing the following in your console? bind J 'br_inspect_weapon'
That might be the difference between us. I'm going to unbind mine and see what happens.
Fixed it. No need to bind it, it was an issue if you didn't have it bind. Just a simple typo(looked for previous input for the K key, instead of J to determine if the key was just pressed that tick).
