Currently, there are no reasons to play TTT 2 with minecraft only maps. I have some ideas to add more incentive to play TTT2.
1. Herobrine Boss
A new boss that can only spawn in TTT 2. He would be just a bit bigger than a regular player and have to use a diamond sword. He gets enhanced speed and a buffed invisibility cloak that will use crouch speed level cloak while running. The diamond sword has the same range and damage as a bloodweep with the speed of a crowbar.
He would have his own godlike which would be his diamond sword, right clicking switches through various buffs.
The buffs would be Fire aspect, Knockback, Looting, Sharpness, Smite, Sweeping edge and Unbreaking
Fire Aspect: Fire aspect will grant a guaranteed fire damage proc on every hit.
Knockback: Self explanatory, knockback will grant increased knockback on the victim.
Looting: Looting will grant an increased chance of dropping a loot orb when you land the killing blow on a rightful kill.
Sharpness: Just a regular damage boost.
Sweeping Edge: Sweeping Edge causes everyone close to the victim to be hit for 50% of the damage dealt.
Unbreaking: Unbreaking gives a flat 20% damage resistance against ranged attacks.
Another idea is an Ender Pearl misc. item.
You spawn with 3 pearls without a way to get more in a round. When thrown, an Enderpearl will consume 20 hp and teleport the player wherever the pearl lands.
