just FYI, our current iteration of the AK is an AKc-74y. They would both function exactly the same (fast firing SMG that sprays bullets).

Unless our current AK is made into actually a rifle, thats kind of super reduntant.

the rest of these are pretty allright

I could maybe add some more ammo types if needed.

But as I told chosen via steamchat, it's hard to make new weapons of the same 'class' because it would basically just reiterate the weapons we have already done, just becoming a reskin. I mean, we could tweak the stats a BIT, more baseweapons etc. Maybe I'll find someone to put in charge of developing base weapons. That could be helpful to me. it's really just adjusting stats at that point.

I could make a UI in game, give access to trusted users. They would be 'base weapon balancers' and would beable to load up the stats for any base weapon, and adjust their values. Then 'save' them. This could help me out a lot, obviously I'd have limits on what you could set things so people don't get too crazy, but this could be cool.

Definitely need more guns. Gets boring using the same old guns for all these years.

I think we need more assault rifles :> currently 99% of what people use are just Mac-10's and smgs

I feel like this is the route NTG went, they added a lot of dumb "Base" guns that I feel don't fit into the meta of how TTT works.

If people like it then I have no complaints, but I like the system as we have it. Plenty complex as-is.

Terran makes an okay point. More base weapons are fine but we shouldn't get too crazy with it. Of the ones Chosen posted I liked the Hitman Elephant Rifle and the mini uzi. The M1 Garand was alright also.

The meta of TTT here is much different than the default one though. Having more variety isn't a bad thing as long as they don't completely make the older weapons useless.

I feel like the system I suggested would be the best way to keep weapons balanced, and take a lot of the load off of me. Balancing can be difficult, and time consuming, and it can be very hard to find a good spot for a weapon to sit in the meta (as you've said). That's why I'd enlist players that have a lot more playtime than me to help out with this, other than just through suggestions.

The system will track who eddited what, when, have notes the 'adjusters' can leave each other, etc.

So say I add a new Pistol type, and it has completely terrible stats. They would be in charge of adjusting the stats to make it better, but not OP. To try and find a unique spot in the meta for it.
