When you shoot a Hylian Shield with a flare gun, it does about 8 damage a second until the player dies. I went from 100 to 0 in about 7 or 8 seconds, with no signs of it stopping.

Figured it out when I asked Skully how he did 100 damage to me with a single flare gun shot, and he said he had hit my shield, so Jake and I tested it further.

What's happening it seems is the shield when in block formation turns into an object instead of just a melee. When you shoot the flare directly at it, it starts on fire not the body itself. That's my theory, but I'm not sure what would have to be done to fix it.

Which is also why it does the extra damage that it does
