Why do you think we should promote you?: Over 2000+ Hours spent on frg with about almost 50% of those on lobby/events and 50% of those on TTT and I get along w everyone and I love this community!

Each modifier will give a certain amount of challenge points, you can mix and match or stack whichever you want to increase your amount each run.
ALTERNATIVELY - A random few will be selected from the pool and you could choose to do "Challenging Ostara" or not.

Challenge points could affect stuff like loot, forge chance, maybe special rewards if they're high enough. NOT ALL CHALLENGES would give equal points! Some are harder!

If these are any good, I can probably easily think of more. If they're not, boo me to h*ck. Also, please suggest your own if you think this is a cool idea.

"Magazine Counting" A limited ammo challenge, replenishing from chests so you gotta watch your shots. Damage thresholds on bosses restore ammo too.
"Bleeder" HP drains over time unless you get a kill to stop it for a bit.
"Destitute" One less option to choose from for each chest.
"Armored" Enemies spawn with "Armor" that blocks one full hit of damage and any DOTs that might apply until you break it with that hit.
"Nightmare" Enemies move and attack 20% faster.
"Man of Iron" Healing is 50% less effective.
"Man of Steel" No healing allowed during the run, no HP increases. You start with 200HP.
"Allies" All bosses spawn with mini-room bosses to support them.
"Speedrunner" Time limit - Each floor you gain 8 minutes on the clock, extra time carries over to the next floors.
"Swarming" Enemies spawn in greater number
"Healthy" Enemies have +20% life
"Strafing" Dashing gains a +50% cooldown.
"Limited" Dashing causes 5HP damage
"Terranable Luck" Increased chance for Common cards rather than better ones
"Reload Addict" Cannot auto-reload, must do it manually, and reloads are 30% slower.
"Time to Die" Max HP is 1. Each floor, the first hit deals no damage. The second is fatal.
"Finishing Blow" Enemies must be finished off at very close ranges.
"Terrible Foes" Some normal enemies will potentially deal various DOT damage if they hit you, in accordance to their type/color.
"Fumblefingers" You can only reload when standing still, or out of combat.
"Lost and Confused" You have no minimap or map of any kind.
"Dark Souls" Some extra chests will be spawned that are mimics and burst into enemies. Be careful when you open. (Doesn't lower the amount of good chests, just adds "Fake" ones.)
"Mortal Man" No legendary upgrades from chests.
"Airstrikes" Orbital Beam Cannons will occasionally target near you, avoid the radius or take heavy damage.
"Gambler's Greed" Your upgrade chosen from a chest is entirely random.
"Ice Physics" Your movement is slightly slippery, meaning it'll be harder to move accurately.
"Sun in my Eyes" Enemies will be slightly harder to aim at, your cursor will slowly drift away from them. Keep it steady!
"RNG" Damage dealt each shot or DOT tick will be randomized between 25% and 110%.
"Loot Goblin" All chests except the final floor one are on a time limit, acquire keys fast enough or be locked out. Including the minigame room chest.
"Avengers" Enemies will shoot out a burst of projectiles when killed.
"Failure's Price" Healing at a well costs a random key. No key, no heal.
"It is a mystery" Enemies are shrouded, you cannot tell what type they are or see what their names are.
"Everyone's Fear" Some normal keys might randomly not drop, potentially leaving some normal chests unopenable. Plays a sad horn toot if this happens.
"Alpha Striker" Every enemy pack will have a Leader, who must be killed before any other enemies in that pack can. The Leader has double HP and a glowing outline. Other enemies can still block projectiles.


There could be one that gives bosses or enemies new surprising moves that make things harder, but that'd be a lot more to add so I'm not suggesting anything there. Yet.

there are certainly items you can give which would be good gifts, and if everyone does, a lot less people will complain about the gifts they recieve (lol)

sometime in december, when there are "enough" participants, I'll randomly roll a name for each person.
You are their "Secret Santa" and will trade me the item you wish to gift to them, after I have DMed you their name on discord.

it is very very highly encouraged that the item you gift isn't "worthless" and you'd be happy receiving it in turn. If everyone gives really bad gifts- the whole event is moot.

these gifts will be handed out to the recipients after all have been recieved and once i ask around for a solid date that everyone should be available on.
Additionally, courtesy of myself and any other generous gifters who would like to contribute (DM ME IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO CONTRIBUTE),
there will be a "BONUS GIFT" pool to ensure that no one receives a "bad" gift.

What really happened?:2016 i was a shitty 15 y/o went on low pop sandbox servers and just mindlessly used the aimbot on random things. its a decision i regret from today and went onto frg server.

Additional details:22 years old now and 6 years later i still regret the decision. i still see in my friends screenshots of the servers and each time remember and regret the mistake ive made. the server looks really fun and the puzzles and bosses look amazing, i wish could come back with everything having nothing at the start as want to make up for the shitty mistake ive made and come back to the community. 2023 and ive grown alot as a person and want to come back, ive seen the error of what ive done long before and been haunted by it. But i feel i didn't explain my argument enough.
As seen in the ban appeal months ago i want to say sorry to the poor person that i harassed.
But as for this second appeal i want to further give reason for a second chance for myself.
At the time of ban i was about 14 years old. I was banned for extreme toxicity and targeted harassment.
I'm sure most people know that 12-15 year old males on the internet aren't the sharpest tool in the shed and are usually quite aggressive and toxic and i exemplified this. i was cruel and unjust. The person sheerly existed and that lit my fuse.
Again Unjust.
But i wish i could prove this to everyone in FRG that i have changed as a person within those 2 years. Funnily enough i am not too sure how i can prove other than just spending more time banned (most likely going to happen).
Two years to a young person can do a lot to them mentally because its quite a percentage of their overall experience. In these years i went to mental health care facilities because i was in a such deep depression (due to reason I'm not going to explain because that's just weird) . But i am going to say what depression does to an individual or at least what it did to me. It made always on edge, hateful, and overall non self-controlling. But since then i feel that i have changed for the better.
Again its hard to justify malice.
I want to say it was because i was extremely immature and ignorant for the fact that their is no other server or any other game out there really that even resembles something like FRG, Its something extraordinary that nothing can replicate.
But i'm going to say what i think is you're side of the argument.
"This Is obviously a lie"- If it is a lie hypothetically and then why would i go through all this effort to write an appeal like this ( You could just use chat gpt or sm shit) I'm not terribly sure how to prove that i typed this from sincerity. all i can say is that.
"Why should we even read let alone consider unbanning you?" Because i wish to exemplify that people can change, Even though overall this is just a gmod server its a place i can truly say its home away from home. Some people fail to see how somethings are incredibly important to others. I only remember happy memories with FRG.
"You are just going to rdm and harass people again if we unban you" Well then i guess all this effort was for nothing and that i'm just an idiot or something. I'm not insane no one in the right mind would go through all this effort just to prove a small tiny point of hatred towards some else .That's reverse flash amounts of petty.

No clue as to why iv been banned, never even remember joining your servers, however there is a new gamemode on gmod that is owned by you and id like to check it out. I really could not tell you what I did but i doubt it worth a perm since I dont hack/exploit/break any UK/USA laws on any gmod servers and I doubt I engaged in anything considered hate speech. My best guess would be trolling since booze and a bit of trolling is funny af but I dont think its worth a perm eitherway.

What really happened?: I typed "I will rape you" twice to seus in chat jokingly but didnt really specify that I was joking. I asked Leo if I can get banned for saying that and he said I can if I say it too many times. I didnt know at the time so I was muted and gagged. Then immediately around 10 minutes later banned for a year.

Additional details: I didnt even know I could be banned for that but uh sorry. I havent checked my warning for a while but I guess they were maxed out to be banned for a whole year. I havent played for a bit so mb.

That's right FRG Players, the anticipated FRG Halloween event is finally upon us. With it comes the new Seasonal Pass, new crates, tons of new items, new Inventory Search feature, and more!


The Crate

I moved away from having a Celestial this time (I don't want to overuse it), and instead opted for a wider assortment of items that have skill trees. Using the data from easter, everything has been re-balanced with all of that feedback in mind. Loot should be more plentiful now and rewarding (still subject to change).

• Added the new Seasonal Pass with the changes talked about above.

• Brought back prior Halloween base weapons.
