the instant swing after blocking is tactics, you noob. Time it right. Its for skilled players. Also, from what I see, its usually similar loot for 1-3, and 3-10 or so for minigames is "consolation" prize. I'm also pretty sure its just pure RNG for what you get, whether 1, 3 or 10.
