Should beartraps do a % of your life, not static?

It really sucks to be straight-up killed by a beartrap, and I use them a LOT. They're amazingly useful, but what if they did 50% of your current life + slowing, rather than a "Static" 50 damage? They'd still do damage and slow people, but obviously the more health = the more damage. I had someone with 120+ life run through two bear traps and kill me, but I also had someone run into a beartrap at below 50 life and instantly die, which is kinda lame. At least Barnacles give you, say, reaction time. Just a thought, not a complaint or anything.

P.S: I use bear-traps ALL THE TIME so I'm happy no matter what way they are.

There was a nerf a while back that lowered them from 50 damage to 40, made them so they slowed instead of locking people in place and made it so you cant place them next to each other anymore.
I think the way they are now is fine though, they need anymore changes

Remember when people bitched that beartraps could be stacked on each other for the use of 2 credits for a single kill?

The suggestion is completely unnecessary.
