I did that and the console is showing the same error over and over again very quickly :
[ERROR} addons/br_worldminigames/lua/entities/br_slots/shared/lua:191: bad argument #1 to 'GetBonePosition' (number expected, got nil)

I've got no clue when it comes to errors but that doesn't seem right or that they would be related, but you can disable downloads by doing the commands but change the 0 -> 1 and the 1 -> 0 and see if that fixes the error
It looks like there's some kind of problem preventing you from getting the downloads which would let you see the content but I'm not really sure how to address that besides the launcher which you'll probably have to wait on

Yeah its saying "OBJ Download timed out"
That other error is when i was looking at something.
I uninstalled my AV. Not sure what would be stopping me from getting the downloads. Hopefully Brass gets on soon.

Yeah there's something on your end preventing any outgoing HTTP requests from gmod. That's why the downloads seem to be failing. The OBJ error is a model being streamed from the webserver too, which completely fails. Did you do something to prevent that? Are you on the beta branch of GMOD?
What's your internet speed?
Like, even your streamed inventory icons that have been like that since Day 1 aren't working (coins, crates, etc). Super weird. Something on your end 100%.

I havent done anything to prevent anything as far as i know. I dont think i am on the beta branch, how would i know? my internet is good, 150 down and 30 up. would the launcher help? ive totally uninstalled steam and reinstalled everything with no luck. I am able to use other servers with no issue. I even set up a second OS on another drive and it still didnt work.
Also i uninstalled my AV to see if that would help.

The launcher would only help some of the issues. You'd still have a bunch of errors as a lot of our content/textures are streamed. It seems for what ever reason, your PC does not like any outgoing http requests from gmod. I don't really know how to fix that for ya.

so I think comcast is having issues. I connected to my vpn and now the launcher is downloading stuff. Hope it works!
