TTT Lights Go Down

Lights Go Down is a quick side project I wanted to do. I started at the beginning of May.

The map is inspired by an album that I like a little too much, called "Razzmatazz" by I DON'T KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME, being an indie and electronic style group. Throughout the map you can see clear inspiration based on their album cover colors, and their other discography.

This also marks my 6th year of mapping, starting back in June of 2016.

Hi there,

Marciels Manor is a map I created which was inspired by an old-style house. Although originally going to be a casual map for CS:GO/CS:S, I decided it would fit better as a TTT or Murder map, so I modified it. I would love to feature it on FRG TTT servers to give this community an original map to play on, and to also open up the opportunity for some community feedback.

I created Marciels Manor back in 2017-2018 but recently gave an overhaul in March of this year which includes a whole heap of new areas. This map is also packed with all the custom textures I used and the CS:S textures, so there is no need to worry about texture issues.

Some of the features:

- Underground areas
- Hidden spots
- Easter eggs

This map is perfect for small/medium servers but there are plenty of weapons and player spawns for a max pop server. Feel free to check it out using the workshop link below!

NTG Rooftops Legacy

ttt_ntgrooftops, the version before the remake that we have, there are a few major problems to it, like flickering sky, broken roof and skybox.

So I used my version and merged them together with a few additions as well, and will be replacing the old version.

Detective Button

Now, Detective Buttons existed before hand on a few maps, but there isn't actually a Detective button like a Traitor Button. With the help of Brass and given this opportunity to try it out in a map, I've put it in this version of Rooftops as an extra button for the Traitor Tester to test it out and see if you guys like it. It's a very small addition, but could be used in the future.
The detective button right now in TTT is more of map logic than an official entity like the t button. Players as Detective will recognize this button MUCH more than a button on a wall labeled Det.

((This feature only works on FRG))

Here's the full changelog.

* The center building is now back to the original form.

+++ttt_complex (very fun map; I love this map the most because of all the rooms and secrets it has I believe other players will like this one the most (it is enclosed so pictures to not do it justice) It has a lazer room which is in one of the pictures; there are also plenty of Traitor traps, each room is random and weird, and there is a maze to get a secret knife as well as a map secret to get killer axe which flickers the lights ,turns the map red and mortal kombat music plays.

Pictures of the Map

I do know this map to good amount of degree so I'll try and list the features.
There is a tester for people to use (but iirc, it might be broken).
There are good amount of secrets on this map including a newton launcher or an m16 box hybrid.
There are two traitor rooms. One for getting around the map and other to activate the robot trap.
It's not super big to get lost in nor is it maze-like, but it's fairly large enough to move around.
There's mirrors if you want to see yourself do things.

This update for Vhoxel's Motel is primarly for bug fixes and a few changes.

[NEW]
+ Added 2 cat pictures in Unpoke's room from the request of Unpoke (don't ask why)...
+ Added damage owners to the swords. (easter egg).

* Hopefully fixed the massive lag when looking at a certain corner of the map.
* Fixed some music that was too quiet.

Introducing the grand opening of Vhoxel's Motel n' Diner! This was of course requested by Vhoxel. I started the project around November, got distracted, made the Easter event, and now we're here.

Just like the map title, the map is based in a motel and a connecting diner. Each apartment (besides 2) in the motel is unique to a player inside the community. There is also many references inside the map of the server.

I updated Kuriosity to fix a few things and make some changes, and added some new content to find on the map, I also optimized a little bit

Have you ever been banned and why?: No and because I'm a good boy. =)

Why would you like to be promoted?: The server has a good amount of really bad maps that a large majority of players do not like. Also, there are some very good maps that get submitted but not added. I understand Brassx has a lot of other shit to worry about so I wanted to help. I would handle all of anything map related for FRG. I'd add maps, remove maps, accept and decline submissions. There have been numerous threads where people complain about maps and posting problems they have. I'd handle all of this.

Why do you think we should promote you?: I have handled the maps for FRG before and think I did a relatively good job.

Do you have any administrative experience?: Yes

Welcome to Kuriosity! This was a request made by Kuro around March, and I started working on this project around April.

Kuro gave me a unique layout to create, the map contains near 25 buildings in a 5x5 grid like style (I'll say near because some building are seamlessly connected together). Each building is unique from each other, creating diversity from one another.

The map seems large, but its actually very small (not including skybox)

A year ago I recreated the map NTG Rooftops (BossLevel gave me permission to edit his map, which he's the original creator), I passed it over to Phunk and he said he will add the map in the map pool soon....that never happened, he said some big update was coming out soon for all maps, but it was never released (this was also the time where the server fell down a even steeper slope than before.

NTG Rooftops is now in FRG, I would like to again present the remake on this server. It's your opinion if you want this new version in.

I'll go into the changes of the map. this version is in the dropbox link, if you want to launch the map up for yourself (workshop is old version). I recently made "v3" mostly for optimization (14,000+ numportals, to 3700 numportals), and to decrease the file size (134mb, to 40mb).

I created a update for Leviathan to improve, add and fix some content in the map. I'm making this thread because I would like to share what I've done to the map.

If you are interested in the update of the map then read away.

NEW

Added a traitor trap
Added a new song
More Traitor items after the boss (I wanted to change it so when you defeat the boss, the innos win, but keeping it normal is probably for the best)
~~You now drop Godlike+ Leviathan Crates every round~~

FIXED

The traitor room is now a traitor room
Fixed the 2nd step being able to complete before the 1st step was completed
Point_teslas now work in the tunnels
Fixed lighting issues

CHANGES

The door to the end of the Easter Egg closes as soon as one player enters the arena
Moved the Riot Shield to a secret place, and replaced the other locker with a Glaedr (if it doesn't work, a knife is also inside)
Flogger stops spinning after 40 seconds
Minor texture changes

OBJECTIVE CHANGES
For step 1, the giant golden ball is now a tiny golden ball, it can't be picked up, but it's much easier to move it
Now only need 3 batteries destroyed instead of 5 in step 2
Reduced step 4 zombie kills from 25, to 10

Whenever Brass adds the new map file in, the changes will apply.
