<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: xx-large;">WATER TREATMENT: <span style="color: #6699ff;">SIMULATIONS</span></span></div>
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">Water Treatment: Simulations</span> is finally here! Simulations (WTS) is the next iteration to the gamemode! WTS took the approach as a linear, level based course. Your goal is to make it from the start to finish. Checkpoints return and now are purposed as actual checkpoints, saving your progress to return to later. <br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">DIFFICULTY SCALING</span><br />
<hr />
<br />
From the last iteration, difficulty was the number one problem for newcomers. Other than the Tutorial, there was no difficulty scaling to increase your skill. <span style="text-decoration: underline;">WTS eliminates this with a linear difficulty scaling!</span> As you get further, difficulty should rise at a pace that is possible for any new runner with patience. More so, reoccurring obstacles you saw in chambers are introduced in a way for you to familiarize yourself with them!<br />
Difficulty also comes in the form of puzzle solving. As Chambers was more of hardcore parkour, Simulations aims for how you’re supposed to beat the level rather than throwing yourself around corners until you latch onto something. Many of the WTS courses are tailored first for puzzle solving while the challenge of parkour was secondary. <br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">With this comes with no lives</span></span> (<span style="font-style: italic;">almost</span>)! The main regions of the map are liveless, meaning you can die as many times as you want in a level and not be pushed back.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">NEW MOVEMENT</span><br />
<hr />
<br />
Wall running is one of the core features of Water Treatment. Its simplistic/hard to master mechanics makes it unique to the gamemode. It’s time we accompany wall running with a new mechanic from FRG.<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">Grappling </span>from Erebus is now present in Simulations. Introduced early in the linear path, grappling is an essential mechanic to WTS as many of the courses require grappling to complete. Some courses you'll be swinging from grapple nodes, some courses you'll be wall running and maybe even a mixture of both!<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">TRIALS</span><br />
<hr />
<br />
Test your skill once again in the Trial runs of Simulations. Simulations has 16 Trial courses, all in varying degrees and skill. Master each individual region of the map... or complete the entirety of WTS without dying! Each Trial, whether easy or hard, will be a challenge to pursue if you want the competition!<br />
<br />
<span style="color: #cc6633;">Warning for Trials</span><br />
Because WTS is made soloable, Trials should also be solo. Records with aid from other players will be deleted. This includes stuff like pushing buttons for the runner to gain time. This also includes if another player has unintentionally helped the runner in any capacity, they will also be removed. If there are a lot of players running a course you're trying to do a Trial on, it might be best to wait to prevent the unfortunate event of your new time being removed.<br />
As for Water Treatment: Simulations Trial (the trial of completing WTS from Tutorial to final chamber) intentional help records will be deleted, however, for unintentional time skips, it will be case by case if need be and depends on how much of a skip or time gain a player unintentionally provided. You may want to wait to run this Trial once unlocked on low populated days.<br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: x-large;"><span style="color: #33ccff;">Water Treatment: Simulations (Original Video Game Soundtrack)</span></span><br />
<br />
It’s been too quiet jumping through chambers and exploring the sewers, so I took the opportunity to create an OST and ingame soundtrack for Water Treatment: Simulations!<br />
Yes… there is an OST for Water Treatment. Each region has its own specific track attached to it, and <span style="font-weight: bold;">no... it is not map music and can be controlled via the WT !checkpoint menu.</span><br />
There are 11 total tracks (12 in-game). You can listen to them on Spotify &amp; Apple Music, YouTube, In-Game or drop a Mixtape from a chest!<br />
<br />
If you are interested in a listen, here is a track from WT Simulations:<br />
<br />

			<title><![CDATA[FRG Winter event pre-release notes (Jan 30th 2025)]]></title>
			<link>https://forerunnergaming.org/forums/showthread.php?tid=10646</link>
			<pubDate>Thu, 30 Jan 2025 21:14:48 +0000</pubDate>
			<guid isPermaLink="false">https://forerunnergaming.org/forums/showthread.php?tid=10646</guid>
			<description><![CDATA[<ul>
<li>All players will now gain a free "Winter Compendium" upon loading in, this compendium has some seasonal goodies you can obtain each day just by completing this, like the new crate/pouches, new and old jewels, new and old playermodels, etc.  This compendium has a number of different variants that will be given at random each time you get one.<br />
  <ul>
 </li>
<li><span style="font-style: italic;">You will get a free one at most once a day. Upon obtaining one, you will not be able to obtain another until at least 8am central the following day.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-style: italic;">You will only be given one if you do not have one already in progress, meaning, if you've been given one prior, and don't complete it(or fully delete it), you will not get one automatically until the day rolls over (8am central).</span><br />
  <br />
</li></ul></li>
<li>Added Twilight Box. 125 Rubies, or 10k coins.  These will be available for coins a few hours after the initial launch. (Depends on if everything is smooth)<br />
  <ul>
 </li>
<li>Items obtained from this can be dismantled (including auto-dismantled) for Jollybucks Tokens, scaling depends on how stacked the item is with winter-themed traits. (More winter traits = more bucks).<br />
  </li>
<li>The Box maxes at level 5 instead of 10, and you need 335 to max it. It has had its perks reworked to:<br />
    <ul>
<li>Lv. 1 Increases the odds you will get 3 items instead of 2 from this box by 10%</li>
<li>Lv. 2 Upon pulling a Primordial or higher from this box, there is a 40% chance to get this box back.</li>
<li>Lv. 3 Any Primordial or higher you obtain will have your name printed in the description.</li>
<li>Lv. 4 Items obtained from this crate, with this perk unlocked, can be dismantled for 5% - 25% more Jollybucks.</li>
<li>Lv. 5 Has a 1 in 12 chance for the crate to not be consumed upon open.<br />
    <br />
</li></ul>
  This is because some of the old perks made it incredibly difficult to properly balance the cost ratio vs pull rates, and the new !shop system doesn't work with some of the older perks.<br />
  <br />
</li></ul></li>
<li>Added a special animation that can be used for future crates (but is used in Twilight Boxes), for when you pull something on the crates rare table.</li>
<li>Added Jollybucks to the !shop. You'll gain currency like normal seasonals, but prices &amp; rates have been adjusted according to the new extra ways to gain as well.</li>
<li>Updated almost all Jewels to use a new, unified system. This fixes a lot of inconsistencies present in older ones, and will now list all traits the jewel has right on the item.</li>
<li>Jewels now have their own item type, and will show as 'Jewel' on the item's stat display.</li>
<li>If you have a stack of a particular jewel, you will now be able to select the number to use at a time. Greatly speeding up the application process. It will ask you how many to use when you go to apply one to an item.</li>
<li>Updated searching to include new keywords:<br />
    kills: number (+/-) - Searches for all items that have this kill value on the stat display. Including a + will search for items that have the number you entered, or more. - will search for less than or equal.<br />
    jewel - searches for all jewels.<br />
    usable - searches for all "Usable" items. (runes, etc)<br />
    compendium - all emblems &amp; codexes<br />
<br />
  </li>
<li>Added "First Edition" system. The first of an item that is discovered will be "First Edition". <span style="font-weight: bold;">This does not apply to every item discovered, only the rarest ones.</span></li>
<li>Made several tweaks to the skin system to fix them in specific situations.</li>
<li>"View Compendium" now shows up in the right click menu for compendiums equipped &amp; in bags.</li>
<li><span style="font-weight: bold;">You can now upgrade Compendium Synergizer to a max of 10 slots</span>, by dragging meta cores onto it. After +3, it will also start costing coins along side the core to add a slot.<br />
    The first 2 slots both gain 100% xp, each slot after this decays the xp by 25%, with a min xp of 25% of the initial xp gained. (So if you gain 50xp, the lowest amount of xp you can gain would be 12.5 (rounded))<br />
<br />
    Originally I had planned on this being upgraded through some kind of grind/leveling, but I feel this way is better, as the grind should be completing the compendiums, not leveling this.</li>
<li>Fixed Frostblight/Frostpeak's snowball form. It now rolls properly.</li>
<li>Added new nodes to Evergreen.</li>
<li>Removed Snowbird node from Evergreen's node pool.</li>
<li>Evergreens now have a PVE Multiplier.</li>
<li>Evergreen crafting recipe now uses Jollybucks Tokens instead of Coal.</li>
<li>Thrown Antlers now have a PVE Multiplier.</li>
<li>MLG 360 noscope trait is now significantly more lenient.<br />
</li></ul>
<br />
There's a lot of new tech that I can't talk about that you'll see once discovered/once I utilize it more, which is why this update took so long. You'll see soon enough what I'm referring to.<br />
<br />
Expect more stuff when the 10th Anniversary event launches soon (hoping to get gilded reward chest finished with that).<br />
<br />
I also plan to launch the FRG Cards <span style="font-weight: bold;">OPEN BETA</span> in the near future (TTT Only to start with), it's about time I get this into players hands.]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[The Sprummer event is finally here.  I can't express how relieved, excited, and nervous I am all at once, I can't remember what its like to work on anything else. I've been deep in the trenches gamers... but the light is finally here... I can finally move on!!<br />
<br />
Anyways, this seasonal brings pretty much all the goodies you've come to expect, along with some new ideas and twists on existing ideas.<br />
<br />
Gregg is out on vacation this year, so there's no 1v1. But that doesn't mean there's not as much loot (actually more total than any other seasonal I've done so far).<br />
<br />
<a class='oembed' href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="window.open('https://images.frg.gg/37ef9bcbade375731011517fb4a64d47.png', '', 'toolbar=no');myWindow.focus();"><img src="https://images.frg.gg/37ef9bcbade375731011517fb4a64d47.png" style="max-width: 800px;max-height:600px;" alt="Image" title="Full sized Picture" /></a><br />
The seasonal pass has been made more linear (xp wise), to account for the new longer seasonal format. This means you'll be able to complete it more times over the duration of the seasonal, at the cost of the initial XP being slightly more. You can now also gain a new e-shop currency - Flowerbucks from each tier completion!<br />
<br />
<br />
Speaking of, the !eshop now has a new currency - Flowerbucks! These are obtained pretty much the same way as eggbucks, aside from also being able to get them in the Seasonal Pass. <br />
<br />
You may be wondering what happened to my original plan for eggbucks, and why Flowerbucks exist. This is mostly because I didn't plan on eggbucks being around for as long as they were leading into this update. By the time I had this update near complete, people had 100s of thousands of eggbucks stockpiled, which obviously would hurt the flow of this event quite a bit. So I decided to separate 'em, and use the data from the Eggbucks system to balance some bigger things to buy with them. (Prices in eshop are still subject to change, so please give your feedback once all the items are revealed. Keep in mind the event is lasting MONTHS though!).<br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Renewal Chests &amp; Grove Boxes</span></span><br />
The 2 main seasonal rewards - Renewal Chest and Grove Boxes.<br />
<a class='oembed' href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="window.open('https://images.frg.gg/32551214b056e6a47492b1e9fa69b1c4.png', '', 'toolbar=no');myWindow.focus();"><img src="https://images.frg.gg/32551214b056e6a47492b1e9fa69b1c4.png" style="max-width: 800px;max-height:600px;" alt="Image" title="Full sized Picture" /></a><br />
<br />
Grove boxes can be crafted with Renewal Shards, as you'd expect.<br />
<a class='oembed' href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="window.open('https://images.frg.gg/8283868c4c014cc3184aafea24b5e39f.png', '', 'toolbar=no');myWindow.focus();"><img src="https://images.frg.gg/8283868c4c014cc3184aafea24b5e39f.png" style="max-width: 800px;max-height:600px;" alt="Image" title="Full sized Picture" /></a><br />
<br />
There's also now Enhanced Versions of the typical seasonal jewels that can be obtained from Geodes!<br />
<br />
Anyways, I put a shit ton of time into this update and hope you all enjoy it, and as with anything, please report any bugs you find in #bug-reports in discord. Please include your steamID if its a missing item or related to one of your items.<br />
<br />
Notes:<ul>
<li>Added new 2024 Sprummer Seasonal, with new pass, chest, boxes, and more.</li>
<li>Last Prism now no longer procs traits as often until the beams converge.</li>
<li>Glacier's Grasp's damage has been increased, but it now creates fewer ice shards per second. (It has a 1-1.25x random pve multi now to help make up for the fewer shards per second too)</li>
<li>Added easter weapon bases, including a new one.</li>
<li>Disabled older seasonal bases (oops).</li>
<li>(Definitely some other things I forgot to write down)<br />
</li></ul>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[The Sprummer event is finally here.  I can't express how relieved, excited, and nervous I am all at once, I can't remember what its like to work on anything else. I've been deep in the trenches gamers... but the light is finally here... I can finally move on!!<br />
<br />
Anyways, this seasonal brings pretty much all the goodies you've come to expect, along with some new ideas and twists on existing ideas.<br />

			<description><![CDATA[<span style="font-size: x-large;"><span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">The 2023 Christmas Seasonal event is now upon us!</span></span></span><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Festive Chests!</span></span><br />
This are just the typical seasonal chest you expect, but tweaked using some data I gathered from Halloween.<br />
<a class='oembed' href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="window.open('https://images.frg.gg/8e6bff36b047b1cca8b7a7fb6dd76fed.png', '', 'toolbar=no');myWindow.focus();"><img src="https://images.frg.gg/8e6bff36b047b1cca8b7a7fb6dd76fed.png" style="max-width: 800px;max-height:600px;" alt="Image" title="Full sized Picture" /></a><br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">The new seasonal pass! With it comes the addition of Forerunner Fragments to the pass, and some updates to the fragment shop.</span><br />
<a class='oembed' href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="window.open('https://images.frg.gg/97990cec60faca4bf49642d8d821e921.png', '', 'toolbar=no');myWindow.focus();"><img src="https://images.frg.gg/97990cec60faca4bf49642d8d821e921.png" style="max-width: 800px;max-height:600px;" alt="Image" title="Full sized Picture" /></a><br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">New loading screen.</span><br />
<a class='oembed' href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="window.open('https://images.frg.gg/dccb55583242b55a8120aea298334525.png', '', 'toolbar=no');myWindow.focus();"><img src="https://images.frg.gg/dccb55583242b55a8120aea298334525.png" style="max-width: 800px;max-height:600px;" alt="Image" title="Full sized Picture" /></a><br />
I have updated the loading screens to a new page I made over the last few months. I know we'll miss the community screenshots from prior, but up keeping the old ones was a pain, so I moved everything over to a unified system, which makes it WAY easier to iterate upon and add new screens &amp; on screen info.<br />
<br />
A more detailed changelog is below (it doesn't include everything, just some of the highlights)<br />
<br />
<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">General Changes</span></span><ul>
<li>Added Festive Chest.</li>
<li>Added Jolly Troves (tier 1 - 3).</li>
<li>Added the new Christmas Seasonal pass.</li>
<li>Brought back seasonal tasks.</li>
<li>The Santa Group fight makes a return (1v1 as well) with some major changes.<ul>
<li>You can now revive downed teammates up to 2 times during this.</li>
<li>All players must Eat Cookies to gain entry, and because of this, all loot is the same regardless of individual performance. Any variation you see is just rng.</li>
<li>Some other really cool changes you'll have to see that make it really fun <img src="https://forerunnergaming.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.png" alt="Smile" title="Smile" class="smilie smilie_1" />.<br />
</li></ul></li>
<li>Added Forerunner fragments to the seasonal pass and seasonal tasks.</li>
<li>The frag shop items can now get seasonal traits and older seasonal godlikes during seasonal events, also made their rare items a bit more common, and brought back harvester for the season.</li>
<li>Updated the loading screens for TTT and Lobby (other modes to come).</li>
<li>Wallrun crystal now properly loses stamina when wall jumping.</li>
<li>Wallrun crystal drains more stamina and takes 1 second longer to start regenerating.</li>
<li>Wrathwing now has an 'overheat' meter on TTT and creates fewer fireballs during TTT. (Does not apply to pve or dilap). Throwing it too often will build the meter, and overheating will put the attack on cooldown for a few seconds.</li>
<li>Wrathwing's DoT deals lower damage outside of erebus in PvE.</li>
<li>Fixed Aetherborne's trait on shotguns, you now have to hit all of the pellets, missing a single one resets the stacks, it also stacks less dmg per pellet.</li>
<li>You no longer have to start a party before queuing for bloodwynd.<br />
</li></ul>

			<pubDate>Sat, 28 Oct 2023 13:27:09 +0000</pubDate>

			<description><![CDATA[<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="font-size: xx-large;"><span style="color: #ff6633;">SPOOKY SEASON IS UPON US!</span></span></span><br />
That's right FRG Players, the anticipated FRG Halloween event is finally upon us. With it comes the new Seasonal Pass, new crates, tons of new items, new Inventory Search feature, and more!<br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">The Crate</span></span><br />
<a class='oembed' href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="window.open('https://images.frg.gg/899e04ea52395ee7334156cff82e5ea0.png', '', 'toolbar=no');myWindow.focus();"><img src="https://images.frg.gg/899e04ea52395ee7334156cff82e5ea0.png" style="max-width: 800px;max-height:600px;" alt="Image" title="Full sized Picture" /></a><br />
I moved away from having a Celestial this time (I don't want to overuse it), and instead opted for a wider assortment of items that have skill trees. Using the data from easter, everything has been re-balanced with all of that feedback in mind. Loot should be more plentiful now and rewarding (still subject to change).<br />
<br />
<hr />
<br />
<a class='oembed' href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="window.open('https://images.frg.gg/9ed88ef7503b3a12a971ab7e694d3cc8.png', '', 'toolbar=no');myWindow.focus();"><img src="https://images.frg.gg/9ed88ef7503b3a12a971ab7e694d3cc8.png" style="max-width: 800px;max-height:600px;" alt="Image" title="Full sized Picture" /></a><br />
Mystic boxes are boxes you can craft using the new shards, they have a pity system like Eggite boxes, however, they reward the main crate series much more frequently than the easter versions did (4x more), thanks to the feedback everyone provided during easter. Hopefully these ones feel much better.<br />
<br />
<hr />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Seasonal Pass</span></span><br />
<a class='oembed' href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="window.open('https://images.frg.gg/843af2b2e8cfbdb174396daf469fd495.png', '', 'toolbar=no');myWindow.focus();"><img src="https://images.frg.gg/843af2b2e8cfbdb174396daf469fd495.png" style="max-width: 800px;max-height:600px;" alt="Image" title="Full sized Picture" /></a><br />
The next iteration of the pass removes the Tier 7 "random drop" and instead replaces it with a new type of pouch. (Which is obtained from tier 7 and later in the pass too).<br />
<br />
<a class='oembed' href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="window.open('https://images.frg.gg/225a7f09251a3dbadb2778306529d90d.png', '', 'toolbar=no');myWindow.focus();"><img src="https://images.frg.gg/225a7f09251a3dbadb2778306529d90d.png" style="max-width: 800px;max-height:600px;" alt="Image" title="Full sized Picture" /></a><br />
This pouch has a rare drop that can drop old Halloween seasonal pass items!<br />
<br />
<hr />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Inventory Searching</span></span><br />
The Search system has been completely revamped and is MUCH MUCH better for inventory management:<br />
<div class="am_embed">
            <video id="player" style="width:100%;height:100%;max-width:640;max-height:480;" controls="controls" width="100%" height="100%"><br />
                <source src="https://images.frg.gg/06a8530b7d755d3b3533e00c1d5c7dd6.mp4" type="video/mp4" /><br />
                <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="https://forerunnergaming.org/forums/inc/plugins/automedia/mediaplayer/flowplayer-3.2.18.swf" width="100%" height="100%" style="max-width:640;max-height:480;"><br />
                    <param name="movie" value="https://forerunnergaming.org/forums/inc/plugins/automedia/mediaplayer/flowplayer-3.2.18.swf" />
                    <param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" />
                    <param name="wmode" value="transparent" />
                    <param name="flashVars" value="config={'playlist':[{'url':'https://images.frg.gg/06a8530b7d755d3b3533e00c1d5c7dd6.','autoPlay':false}]}" />
                </object><br />
            </video><br />
		</div>
<br />
I also added the search bar to the crafting UI.<br />
<br />
<hr />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">The Unknown</span></span><br />
<!-- automedia_start --><div class="am_embed"><iframe width="640" height="480" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/trb591K1M1c" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></div><!-- automedia_end --><br />
<hr />
The easier to read changelog is listed below:<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">Changes</span><ul>
<li>Added the new Seasonal Pass with the changes talked about above.</li>
<li>Added the new Seasonal crates with the changes talked about above.</li>

<li>Added new "Bonus" chest to Spin N Win (see discord #changelogs for details).</li>
<li>Secrets <img src="https://forerunnergaming.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.png" alt="Smile" title="Smile" class="smilie smilie_1" /><br />

The next iteration of the pass removes the Tier 7 "random drop" and instead replaces it with a new type of pouch. (Which is obtained from tier 7 and later in the pass too).<br />
<br />
<a class='oembed' href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="window.open('https://images.frg.gg/225a7f09251a3dbadb2778306529d90d.png', '', 'toolbar=no');myWindow.focus();"><img src="https://images.frg.gg/225a7f09251a3dbadb2778306529d90d.png" style="max-width: 800px;max-height:600px;" alt="Image" title="Full sized Picture" /></a><br />
This pouch has a rare drop that can drop old Halloween seasonal pass items!<br />
<br />

<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Inventory Searching</span></span><br />
The Search system has been completely revamped and is MUCH MUCH better for inventory management:<br />
<div class="am_embed">
            <video id="player" style="width:100%;height:100%;max-width:640;max-height:480;" controls="controls" width="100%" height="100%"><br />

                    <param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" />
                    <param name="wmode" value="transparent" />
                    <param name="flashVars" value="config={'playlist':[{'url':'https://images.frg.gg/06a8530b7d755d3b3533e00c1d5c7dd6.','autoPlay':false}]}" />
                </object><br />
            </video><br />
		</div>
<br />
I also added the search bar to the crafting UI.<br />
<br />

			<title><![CDATA[Easter Pre-release notes]]></title>

			<guid isPermaLink="false">https://forerunnergaming.org/forums/showthread.php?tid=10477</guid>
			<description><![CDATA[Hey there. It's time for Easter again, and I figured I should outline some of the major changes to this seasonal.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: #33ffff;"><span style="font-size: large;">Eggite Shards</span></span><br />
This seasonal is a bit different than what you're used to. Easter Gifts, and The Seasonal "Device", and the "Crate within a Crate" have all been replaced with one unified system (though crate within a crate still exists in a sense). I looked at how many UI's you had to hop around during the typical loop and thought it was pretty redundant now, and would be better to keep the same amount of content, but just merge them all into one system.<br />
<br />
For this seasonal, the 'base' reward for the pass, pickups, eggs, etc. is what's called "Eggite Shards". These are a new crafting material you can use to craft a brand new type of crate called an "Eggite Box". You can also use these shards to craft the seasonal jewel. <br />
<br />
<br />
These aren't the normal type of "Gift Package" items you are used to. They have enough content to stand on their own as a type of crate entirely. They have their own open animation, AND have a pity system built in - That means after x amount opened without receiving a drop on its rare table, you are guaranteed to get one on your next roll as shown below:<br />
<br />
<span style="font-style: italic;">Please note this video was taken before the drop rates/contents were finalized</span><br />
<div class="am_embed">
            <video id="player" style="width:100%;height:100%;max-width:640;max-height:480;" controls="controls" width="100%" height="100%"><br />
                <source src="https://images.frg.gg/ad99b764c1db1a3685eff4f707517ddc.mp4" type="video/mp4" /><br />
                <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="https://forerunnergaming.org/forums/inc/plugins/automedia/mediaplayer/flowplayer-3.2.18.swf" width="100%" height="100%" style="max-width:640;max-height:480;"><br />
                    <param name="movie" value="https://forerunnergaming.org/forums/inc/plugins/automedia/mediaplayer/flowplayer-3.2.18.swf" />
                    <param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" />
                    <param name="wmode" value="transparent" />
                    <param name="flashVars" value="config={'playlist':[{'url':'https://images.frg.gg/ad99b764c1db1a3685eff4f707517ddc.','autoPlay':false}]}" />
                </object><br />
            </video><br />
		</div>
<span style="font-style: italic;">The slot will start to flame when you are nearing your pity roll</span><br />
<br />
Now you may see "Tier I Eggite box" and wonder if there are more tiers... Yes there are! There's Tier II and Tier III boxes. These are also craftable by adding some coins to your Eggite box crafts.  The higher tier boxes grant more items per open. (2 items per box for tier II, and 3 items per box for Tier III). More items per open = better chances per box (e.g. 2 rolls instead of 1 means 2/x odds instead of 1/x odds).<br />
<br />
These boxes open quite fast on their own, but they also have an "Open Multiple" feature on the right click, however, this costs 50 coins per box opened to use. You may be wondering why, but there's a good number of reasons as to why this is the case. By making it cost to use per crate, it helps give the functionality to those who really need it while still giving a valid reason to not use it (and some potential performance issues that could arise from everyone using it 100% of the time).<br />
<br />
<br />
The ultimate goal of these new eggite shards and boxes, was to make the baseline rewards feel more rewarding, while also lowering the amount of the main series obtained (Easter Eggs in this case) from "Easter Gift" type items. <br />
<br />
With Christmas, the main seasonal crate became a commodity like never seen before. People were flooded with them, and we want to avoid. It's bad for the over-all health of things. Speaking of...<br />
<br />
The new Easter Egg VIII features a lot of new goodies to chase!<br />
<a class='oembed' href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="window.open('https://images.frg.gg/a891d65450c7d845d0e37857d65b382d.png', '', 'toolbar=no');myWindow.focus();"><img src="https://images.frg.gg/a891d65450c7d845d0e37857d65b382d.png" style="max-width: 800px;max-height:600px;" alt="Image" title="Full sized Picture" /></a><br />
<br />
It has a brand new Celestial AND Godlike in it, as well as a variety of other cool items and new decked out pre-existing godlikes. <br />
<br />
<span style="color: #ffcc33;"><span style="font-size: large;">The Seasonal Pass</span></span><br />
<br />
The pass has been restructured a bit, to spread out the rewards a bit more evenly. Also ALL items that were previously godlikes or exotics have now been made Primordial! That means they now feature crafting potential, and as a result, the 'soft cap' on the pass has been removed (when it ramped the xp up to absurd amounts after a number of completions). The amount of XP has been adjusted slightly, but over-all it should be easier to repeat your passes.<br />
<br />
<a class='oembed' href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="window.open('https://images.frg.gg/240518b429ae5ae3c52d1736d4d6471e.png', '', 'toolbar=no');myWindow.focus();"><img src="https://images.frg.gg/240518b429ae5ae3c52d1736d4d6471e.png" style="max-width: 800px;max-height:600px;" alt="Image" title="Full sized Picture" /></a><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
TL;DR Below:<ul>
<li>Removed the Seasonal Device.</li>
<li>Removed Easter Gifts.</li>
<li>Added "Eggite b<span style="color: #ffcc66;">o</span>xes".</li>
<li>Added the new Easter Egg VIII'<span style="color: #ffcc66;">s</span>x.</li>
<li>Added "Eggite Shards" - a crafting ma<span style="color: #ffcc66;">t</span>erial used to craft Eggite Boxes, jewels, etc.</li>
<li>Made all Seasonal p<span style="color: #ffcc66;">a</span>ss items prim or below (besides playermodels).</li>
<li>Removed the soft cap on seasonal passes (xp <span style="color: #ffcc66;">r</span>amping up absurdly after an amount of completion).</li>
<li>Added the new se<span style="color: #ffcc66;">a</span>sonal pass.</li>
<li>Brought back the seasonal task system, but 3 pvp and 2 pve tasks instead of 3 and 3. Also adjusted their rates/rewards/xp amounts.</li>
<li>Changed the Serial Killer chance to 1 in 8 (was 1/12)<br />
</li></ul>

<span style="font-style: italic;">The slot will start to flame when you are nearing your pity roll</span><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
The ultimate goal of these new eggite shards and boxes, was to make the baseline rewards feel more rewarding, while also lowering the amount of the main series obtained (Easter Eggs in this case) from "Easter Gift" type items. <br />
<br />
With Christmas, the main seasonal crate became a commodity like never seen before. People were flooded with them, and we want to avoid. It's bad for the over-all health of things. Speaking of...<br />
<br />
The new Easter Egg VIII features a lot of new goodies to chase!<br />
<a class='oembed' href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="window.open('https://images.frg.gg/a891d65450c7d845d0e37857d65b382d.png', '', 'toolbar=no');myWindow.focus();"><img src="https://images.frg.gg/a891d65450c7d845d0e37857d65b382d.png" style="max-width: 800px;max-height:600px;" alt="Image" title="Full sized Picture" /></a><br />
<br />
It has a brand new Celestial AND Godlike in it, as well as a variety of other cool items and new decked out pre-existing godlikes. <br />
<br />
<span style="color: #ffcc33;"><span style="font-size: large;">The Seasonal Pass</span></span><br />
<br />
<br />
<a class='oembed' href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="window.open('https://images.frg.gg/240518b429ae5ae3c52d1736d4d6471e.png', '', 'toolbar=no');myWindow.focus();"><img src="https://images.frg.gg/240518b429ae5ae3c52d1736d4d6471e.png" style="max-width: 800px;max-height:600px;" alt="Image" title="Full sized Picture" /></a><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
TL;DR Below:<ul>
<li>Removed the Seasonal Device.</li>
<li>Removed Easter Gifts.</li>
<li>Added "Eggite b<span style="color: #ffcc66;">o</span>xes".</li>
<li>Added the new Easter Egg VIII'<span style="color: #ffcc66;">s</span>x.</li>
<li>Added "Eggite Shards" - a crafting ma<span style="color: #ffcc66;">t</span>erial used to craft Eggite Boxes, jewels, etc.</li>
<li>Made all Seasonal p<span style="color: #ffcc66;">a</span>ss items prim or below (besides playermodels).</li>
<li>Removed the soft cap on seasonal passes (xp <span style="color: #ffcc66;">r</span>amping up absurdly after an amount of completion).</li>
<li>Added the new se<span style="color: #ffcc66;">a</span>sonal pass.</li>
<li>Brought back the seasonal task system, but 3 pvp and 2 pve tasks instead of 3 and 3. Also adjusted their rates/rewards/xp amounts.</li>
<li>Changed the Serial Killer chance to 1 in 8 (was 1/12)<br />
</li></ul>

<div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #fff888;"><span style="font-size: xx-large;">Water Treatment: <span style="color: #333333;">Chambers</span></span></span></div>
<br />
<br />
Water Treatment returns with an entirely new map!<br />
<br />
Water Treatment: Chambers is an extremely difficult variation of Water Treatment in which the map takes a more linear approach. The focus has been pointed to difficulty and "parkour content" rather than exploration.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="color: #ff3333;">DISCLAIMER FOR ALL RUNNERS</span></span><br />
<br />
Chambers' difficulty is extremely elevated. For those who are or were excited for a new Water Treatment but do not have the basic grasps of Source movement, this will be very challenging for beginners and is not for faint of heart. I of course recommend you give it a fair try, but if you are struggling and becoming frustrated, take a quick breather, leave your desk, and try again or try it a different time. Not everyone will be able to complete WTC. I wish you all the best of luck<br />
<br />
<span style="text-decoration: underline;">Wall Running Changes</span><br />
You can now press A or D to wall run<br />
Wall running in general has been made more intuitive to all players. Players who had a distain for wall running, see if it feels better.<br />
After letting off from a wall you have a fraction of time to perform a jump.<br />
<br />
<span style="text-decoration: underline;">Water Treatment Changes</span><ul>
<li>The map has been made in a linear fashion. Players are provided with 7 unlockable courses containing 3 Chambers each. At the end of the course you will receive a chest. These Chambers are made with Lives like Agony. You have a limited number of lives before you are sent back to Chamber 1.</li>
<li>Water Treatment Beacons are not physical items but rather they are displayed on your screen. They can be collected first time from any chest. Checkpoints are purely to unlock new courses.</li>
<li>There are 42 Gems to collect throughout the map.</li>
<li>Trials are unlocked by completing the course for that Trial first.</li>
<li>Water Treatment: Chambers can be entirely solo'd. Players are allowed to help others however or wherever they can (with the exception of Trials).<br />
</li></ul>
<br />
<span style="color: #cc9933;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Warning for Trials</span></span><br />
Because WTC is made soloable, Trials should also be solo. <span style="font-weight: bold;">Records with aid from other players will be deleted</span>. This includes stuff like pushing buttons for the runner to decrease their time. This also includes if another player has unintentionally helped the runner in any capacity, they will also be removed. If there are a lot of players running a course you're trying to do a Trial on, it might be best to wait to prevent the unfortunate event of your new time being removed.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">With all that, <span style="font-weight: bold;">good luck</span>. I don't expect everyone to like Water Treatment, and I don't expect most to complete it. <br />
Give it your best</div>]]></description>

<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">With it comes exciting new items, features such as the "Christmas Spirit" bar on the Lobby, Seasonal Daily tasks (including PVE tasks), and a return of the old Favorite Santa Raid Fight! Group up with your fellow players and defeat Santa. But be warned: Santa has not been sitting idle the years since the last group fight. He has been training, waiting for this moment. </span><br />
<br />
<br />
Full changelog below:<ul>
<li><span style="font-weight: bold;">Added Christmas Present VII (crazy it's been this many already). This present contains a good assortment of new items, traits, and skins.  These are for rubies only in the shop for ~1 week. Then they will be available for coins.</span><br />

<span style="font-style: italic;">This present is an attempt to sort of 'go back to our roots', in terms of how a crate's godlike used to feel awesome to get. I put a good deal of effort into that type of item in this present. We'll see how it goes and if everyone enjoys it, and how I can further improve.  <br />
Along side that, the "Random Godlike" slot for existing godlikes has been revamped to include more variety and they are much more likely to come decked out with seasonal stuff.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-weight: bold;">Added the new Seasonal Pass. This pass has a strong focus on community made suggestions for weapons and playermodels.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-weight: bold;">Added Christmas Stocking III's.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-weight: bold;">Adjusted the pass UI.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-weight: bold;">Added Seasonal Tasks to the Task UI. These can be pve or pvp and have their own re-roll counter.</span><br />

<span style="font-style: italic;">This is a bar that is filled by using Jolly Energy near it. When the bar fills, it sends out gifts - community wide. To recent players and those who contributed. The amount of rewards and drop rates of rarer rewards are adjusted based on how much a person has contributed to that specific bar. You obtain Jolly Energy by completing seasonal tasks (as shown above).<br />
The amount of energy needed to fill this bar is currently skewed to be harder than intended, so I can dial it back as I get more data during the event.</span></li>

			<title><![CDATA[A new Monthly system - notes and thoughts]]></title>
			<link>https://forerunnergaming.org/forums/showthread.php?tid=10444</link>
			<pubDate>Sat, 03 Dec 2022 22:33:29 +0000</pubDate>
			<guid isPermaLink="false">https://forerunnergaming.org/forums/showthread.php?tid=10444</guid>
			<description><![CDATA[So after discussing earlier, I have decided to experiment a bit like I like to do. I thought about monthly items, and how that was a cool aspect but not sustainable due to the dev time needed, then I had an idea - Monthly base weapons. <br />
<br />
These are variants of existing weapons or completely new base weapons, only obtainable during select months (fairly rare). These will repeat each year automatically, and there's support for multiple bases a month rather than just always 1, there can be multiple for variety. <br />
<br />
On top of this, I will be adding a new item (maybe a craftable) that acts like Rune of alter/greater alter, but has these monthly bases in the pool at a set rate (any month available within these, older ones being less likely than current ones), when I get time. This doesn't mean those bases are guaranteed with this rune, they are a set chance, the normal pool is still there.<br />
<br />
I will also highlight a few things I think will be frequently asked below:<br />
<br />
<span style="color: #ff3333;"><span style="font-size: x-large;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Do these replace the Bimonthly pass? Are these related to old monthly items at all?</span></span></span><br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">No, and No.</span> These are mini monthly frg updates. New weapon types to look forward to using. Not new items entirely, just new weapon BASES. Like MP7, Silenced M16, new laser based gun, etc. Things like that, that you can get on already existing FRG Tiers/uniques, such as Heroics.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">How does this work?</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">Each monthly base defined has a list of weapon classes that it can "replace" (I use this term loosely here), that means, if I make a new AR, and define it to 'replace galils', any weapon that can roll with a galil will now have a chance to get this monthly base weapon on it, during the month. Note, this doesn't mean ALL galils will be this, it just means it looks for items that support galils as applicable items.</span><br />
<br />
This is so certain tiers that have a limited pool of weapons can't go too far outside that realm, but is still possible if a similar monthly base is defined to look for one of its classes. (Such as those in the molten pool)<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">So once an item is dropped, it'll look through and see if that item can support a current monthly base, if so, it'll try to proc the monthly base on it. If it procs, congrats! You now have an item with a monthly base! These come with fancy new icon visuals to indicate what they are, as well as a description in the item tooltip.</span><br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">How and where can I obtain these?</span></span><br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">You don't need to do anything extra to obtain these.</span> Any item obtained from pretty much anywhere has a chance to turn into one of these bases, given the item is supported by the current monthly base.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Can I craft weapons into these bases?</span></span><br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">Yes if the item itself is applicable and supported by the defined monthly base.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Will you be using existing monthly items as bases?</span></span><br />
Not planning on it. If I re-use anything, it'll likely be already existing base weapons from some seasonal items or maybe some forgotten prim uniques, but tweaked/changed to make them more in line with being a base on many things. (Such as silenced M16 - currently has been around for the entirety of FRG but only used recently in Mercurials)<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Will I be able to view the available bases in !monthly?</span></span><br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">Eventually.</span> Currently I don't have them listed as I want to make a way to ensure they aren't leaked before they drop. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
I forgot to mention:<br />
There's setting per crafting tier to enable auto dismantling of monthly bases. Currently they are disabled by default!]]></description>

This is so certain tiers that have a limited pool of weapons can't go too far outside that realm, but is still possible if a similar monthly base is defined to look for one of its classes. (Such as those in the molten pool)<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Can I craft weapons into these bases?</span></span><br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">Yes if the item itself is applicable and supported by the defined monthly base.</span><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
I forgot to mention:<br />
There's setting per crafting tier to enable auto dismantling of monthly bases. Currently they are disabled by default!]]></content:encoded>

<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Patchnotes</span></span><ul>
<li>Added the Easter Seasonal pass and revamped its UI theme.</li>
<li>Added the new Easter Egg VII. This is available for rubies only for the first week of the event. (100 rubies each). This egg contains 2 items.</li>
<li>Accessories now support discoveries.</li>
<li>Added the revamped Coinshop system (Character tab). This limits how many things players can equip per slot type. It also supports a new type of item. It's also much more optimized for rendering, <span style="font-style: italic;">though I still suggest only enabling coinshop renders for super close up and only for one person at a time.</span></li>
<li>Added new things to the donator !spin wheel, including 2 new themed backgrounds, and some rarer things to "Mystery Item". (Older crates, Ultimate Jewels, boomboxes, etc)</li>
<li>Scrolls now track how many easings you use for a step, and reduce your seasonal xp by the % of easings vs the amount of normal kills you got on the scroll. So if you use 9 easings and need 10 kills, you'll get 90% less xp when you get your final kill.</li>
<li>Added a good assortment of "Easter" variant  base weapons that can be obtained on most tiers and crafts.<br />
</li></ul>

			<guid isPermaLink="false">https://forerunnergaming.org/forums/showthread.php?tid=10321</guid>
			<description><![CDATA[The post below is from parade:<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><a class='oembed' href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="window.open('https://imgur.com/mSdeJRR.jpg', '', 'toolbar=no');myWindow.focus();"><img src="https://imgur.com/mSdeJRR.jpg" style="max-width: 800px;max-height:600px;" alt="Image" title="Full sized Picture" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #339999;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-size: xx-large;">Water Treatment</span></span></span></div>
<br />
<br />
Water Treatment is back, separate from The Lobby onto its own Gamemode! Water Treatment has been altered to be a standalone mode. This is <span style="text-decoration: underline;">not a limited</span> time event, so you will be able to complete it at your own pace.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">--- What Was Water Treatment?</span></span><br />
For those who weren't here last year, Water Treatment was a limited time jump puzzle course attached to The Lobby. The course itself was not linear and allowed exploring with some risk-taking. You could pick your own path to where you want to go. By travelling through the map and completing the various courses, you were able to gain loot from chests. <span style="text-decoration: underline;">No Loadout was needed</span> and <span style="text-decoration: underline;">all players could play</span>.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">--- What Has Changed?</span></span><br />
The original Water Treatment is now on its own server, as well as an entire separate region was created in addition. With the size increase, Checkpoints are now sparsely littered through the map, however, <span style="text-decoration: underline;">these are not your average Checkpoints</span>. Some courses were removed from the original Water Treatment (Maze and Elevator).<br />
Big Chests and Small Chests are still in. You can find Big Chests at the end of a path you took, usually behind an intricate course. You can find Small Chests throughout the various sections of the map, occasionally behind a small jump puzzle course.<br />
With new and returning courses, expect to be able to compete in <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Speed Running</span>. You can start a Trial to track your time. You can also <span style="text-decoration: underline;">watch a recording</span> of the fastest time for each course.<br />
You can spectate players in the server and see what they're doing (don't choke).<br />
As a new form of parkour, Wall Running has been added also voice chat is in proximity.<br />
<br />
<div class="spoiler_wrap"><div class="spoiler_header"><a href="javascript:void(0);" onclick="javascript:if(parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].style.display=='block'){parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].style.display='none';this.innerHTML='&lt;img title=&quot;[+]&quot; alt=&quot;[+]&quot; src=&quot;/images/collapse_collapsed.png&quot; class=&quot;expandspoiler&quot; /&gt;Wall Running';}else {parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].style.display='block';this.innerHTML='&lt;img title=&quot;[-]&quot; alt=&quot;[-]&quot; src=&quot;/images/collapse.png&quot; class=&quot;expandspoiler&quot; /&gt;Wall Running';}"><img title="[+]" alt="[+]" src="/images/collapse_collapsed.png" class="expandspoiler" />Wall Running</a></div><div class="spoiler_body" style="display: none;color:#f2f2f2;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">--- Wall Running</span></span><br />
<span style="color: #ffffff;">If you have a D20 or used a D20, the highest roll on a D20 is Divine Mode, which allows you to wall run. This same Wall Running ability has been added to Water Treatment.<br />
<!-- automedia_start --><div class="am_embed"><iframe width="640" height="480" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/Ik8fq4ureB4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></div><!-- automedia_end --><br />
If you haven't used Divine Mode, you can wall run by jumping and holding W to latch onto the wall. You then can either let go of W to stop wall running, or jump to gain air time.<br />
This is the simplest way I can explain it. Wall Running has a learning curve.</span></div></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">--- Difficulty</span></span><br />
Water Treatment has a variety of difficulties in the courses you will be facing throughout the map. Some players will struggle in these course and some will attempt with ease. Every course is possible for every player if you play enough (except for one, good luck). Water Treatment is not a limited time event, so you are free to come and attempt these courses. Water Treatment will be getting map iterations from time to time, so if you are giving up with certain courses, you can return in the future and try again on something new.<br />
I do urge for everyone to try the gamemode out at least once, even if you particularly don't enjoy jump puzzles, it has a change of atmosphere from the rest of the gamemodes.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">--- Trials</span></span><br />
Trials are timed courses. When you start a trial  your actions are recorded so if you get the Server Record, everyone can see your run through of the course until someone beats your record of course. They can spectate the record by typing !specrecord &lt;partial course name&gt;. You can also see the 'ghost' of the record holder completing the course, they show up as a yellow orb with a trail.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">--- Assets Used and Credits</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="color: #33cc33;">Thank you Limeinade creating the warehouse facility hall section before Wall Crushers (spoilers!). He is truly the devil for this one!</span></span><br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="color: #999933;"><span style="font-size: small;">Assets Used<br />
TOPHATTWaffle - Real World Textures<br />
Philip Klevestav - PK02 Textures </span></span><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Thank you parade for providing me with the above text. Below are my own notes and extra info.<ul>
<li>You can type and of the following<br />
!checkpoints, !cp, !c, !trials</li>
<li>to open your main WT hub UI: <br />
<a class='oembed' href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="window.open('https://images.frg.gg/60266f2ffe2e82ad0f7e01a40d787558.png', '', 'toolbar=no');myWindow.focus();"><img src="https://images.frg.gg/60266f2ffe2e82ad0f7e01a40d787558.png" style="max-width: 800px;max-height:600px;" alt="Image" title="Full sized Picture" /></a><br />
From this UI you can see your unlocked checkpoints, set your respawn point, see the current records and other things. It's quite useful. You can also bind a key to the console command <span style="font-weight: bold;">br_open_checkpoints</span>.</li>
<li>Cross-server text chat between the Lobby and Water Treatment. You can use TEAM CHAT for localized chat.<br />
<span style="font-style: italic;">This allows players to communicate to those on the lobby or WT. It just makes it feel a bit less lonely and its tech I'll be using more in the future.</span></li>
<li>Spectating players <br />
<span style="font-style: italic;">You can spectate anyone on the server via !spec &lt;name&gt;. There is a bug where apparently people out of spectator mode can not hear you talking so keep that in mind. It also displays the number of people spectating you in the top right corner.</span></li>
<li>Record Replays.<br />
<span style="font-style: italic;">I made a cool system that records players attempting to go for records, and plays their run back for everyone to spectate if they choose. It's pretty cool. !specrecord &lt;partial course name&gt;.</span><br />
</li></ul>
<br />
To join type <span style="font-weight: bold;">!wt</span> . Right now it's 40 players and crates are disabled, but there's support for multiple servers if needed, ontop of that it's on the old hardware so it is possible 40 players is too many for it to run, so we will see!]]></description>

<div class="spoiler_wrap"><div class="spoiler_header"><a href="javascript:void(0);" onclick="javascript:if(parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].style.display=='block'){parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].style.display='none';this.innerHTML='&lt;img title=&quot;[+]&quot; alt=&quot;[+]&quot; src=&quot;/images/collapse_collapsed.png&quot; class=&quot;expandspoiler&quot; /&gt;Wall Running';}else {parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].style.display='block';this.innerHTML='&lt;img title=&quot;[-]&quot; alt=&quot;[-]&quot; src=&quot;/images/collapse.png&quot; class=&quot;expandspoiler&quot; /&gt;Wall Running';}"><img title="[+]" alt="[+]" src="/images/collapse_collapsed.png" class="expandspoiler" />Wall Running</a></div><div class="spoiler_body" style="display: none;color:#f2f2f2;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">--- Wall Running</span></span><br />
<span style="color: #ffffff;">If you have a D20 or used a D20, the highest roll on a D20 is Divine Mode, which allows you to wall run. This same Wall Running ability has been added to Water Treatment.<br />
<!-- automedia_start --><div class="am_embed"><iframe width="640" height="480" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/Ik8fq4ureB4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></div><!-- automedia_end --><br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">--- Assets Used and Credits</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="color: #33cc33;">Thank you Limeinade creating the warehouse facility hall section before Wall Crushers (spoilers!). He is truly the devil for this one!</span></span><br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="color: #999933;"><span style="font-size: small;">Assets Used<br />
TOPHATTWaffle - Real World Textures<br />
Philip Klevestav - PK02 Textures </span></span><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Thank you parade for providing me with the above text. Below are my own notes and extra info.<ul>
<li>You can type and of the following<br />
!checkpoints, !cp, !c, !trials</li>
<li>to open your main WT hub UI: <br />
<a class='oembed' href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="window.open('https://images.frg.gg/60266f2ffe2e82ad0f7e01a40d787558.png', '', 'toolbar=no');myWindow.focus();"><img src="https://images.frg.gg/60266f2ffe2e82ad0f7e01a40d787558.png" style="max-width: 800px;max-height:600px;" alt="Image" title="Full sized Picture" /></a><br />
</li></ul>
<br />
To join type <span style="font-weight: bold;">!wt</span> . Right now it's 40 players and crates are disabled, but there's support for multiple servers if needed, ontop of that it's on the old hardware so it is possible 40 players is too many for it to run, so we will see!]]></content:encoded>

			<description><![CDATA[<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-size: x-large;">Added the Improbability Device</span></span></span><br />
<br />
The Improbability device is an item you purchase for coins, or rubies, from the coinshop. <br />
<br />
Once you have it in your inventory, you add the respective currency to the device, until eventually it awards you an item. <br />
<br />
<div class="am_embed">
            <video id="player" style="width:100%;height:100%;max-width:640;max-height:480;" controls="controls" width="100%" height="100%"><br />
                <source src="https://images.frg.gg/2b08248fdf72bfea2f066c8eb7f0a680.mp4" type="video/mp4" /><br />
                <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="https://forerunnergaming.org/forums/inc/plugins/automedia/mediaplayer/flowplayer-3.2.18.swf" width="100%" height="100%" style="max-width:640;max-height:480;"><br />
                    <param name="movie" value="https://forerunnergaming.org/forums/inc/plugins/automedia/mediaplayer/flowplayer-3.2.18.swf" />
                    <param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" />
                    <param name="wmode" value="transparent" />
                    <param name="flashVars" value="config={'playlist':[{'url':'https://images.frg.gg/2b08248fdf72bfea2f066c8eb7f0a680.','autoPlay':false}]}" />
                </object><br />
            </video><br />
		</div>
<br />
The price per 'attempt' does not increase. Its a flat rate, and the chance to proc an item is a flat 1/30. However, there are 2 sub rarity procs within this, I call "Uncommon" and "Common" procs. Each of these have their own table of items. Once you proc the 1 in 30, it tries to proc the rare 'proc', then if that fails it tries the Uncommon proc, then if that fails, it spits out a random item on the Devices common loot table.  The Uncommon and Rare procs get more likely the more currency you have offered to that specific device total. Eventually getting an uncommon is guaranteed, and so is getting a rare if your attempts get that high.<br />
<br />
You can type !improb to read more about this, and see the specific rates.<br />
<a class='oembed' href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="window.open('https://images.frg.gg/3d2a0a05f28ce2dccb16897613e84264.png', '', 'toolbar=no');myWindow.focus();"><img src="https://images.frg.gg/3d2a0a05f28ce2dccb16897613e84264.png" style="max-width: 800px;max-height:600px;" alt="Image" title="Full sized Picture" /></a><br />
<br />
The rates screen has a nice little interactive calculator, so you can see your odds depending on the attempt.<br />
<a class='oembed' href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="window.open('https://images.frg.gg/88893de10c288401f7ffb28eacb2c557.png', '', 'toolbar=no');myWindow.focus();"><img src="https://images.frg.gg/88893de10c288401f7ffb28eacb2c557.png" style="max-width: 800px;max-height:600px;" alt="Image" title="Full sized Picture" /></a><br />
<br />
<br />
Currently the Improbability device is only available on the Coinshop for rubies, however, the Coin version will be available in around 2 days.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><br />
<span style="font-size: x-large;"><span style="color: #ff3333;">F.A.Q:</span></span></span><br />
<blockquote><cite>Quote:</cite><span style="font-weight: bold;">Is anything from the Shrine of Chance in this?</span></blockquote>
<span style="font-weight: bold;">Just the prims (Wild Card, Pocket Infinity ,Mighty Morphing). No shrine specific traits, exotics, or godlikes are in this from the shrine. </span><br />
<br />
<blockquote><cite>Quote:</cite><span style="font-weight: bold;">Are there shrinelike style global godlikes in this?</span></blockquote>
<span style="font-weight: bold;">No. Pretty much all the unique rare table stuff are unique to this device. I also plan on making a series of these over time, with new items.</span><br />
<br />
<blockquote><cite>Quote:</cite><span style="font-weight: bold;">Isn't this pay 2 win?</span></blockquote>
<span style="font-weight: bold;">All of our perks are a little pay2win. The problem is when that crosses the line and gives people with fat wallets access to powerful items or weapons, that no one can access without paying real money. This is not that case at all here, the reason donators get early access to items like these, is the purely cosmetic "Discovery" aspect. Once available for coins, the coin drops completely outnumber the ruby drops by far. They are paying for a chance to get their name on a weapon, and early access 'hype'. <br />
<br />
That said, I have ensured there's at least ONE discovery in the coin version, separate from the ruby version, but it's possible there will be more too depending on rng of course. </span><br />
<br />
<blockquote><cite>Quote:</cite><span style="font-weight: bold;">Isn't this gross gambling?</span></blockquote>
<span style="font-weight: bold;">It is a form of gambling yes, as are crates. With this though, its more like a special high risk crate, not much different from our other ones if you really look deep. You're paying more currency to skip most of the mindless 'low tier' drops you get from crates, to have a better chance at the cooler stuff.  You also have to read multiple warnings, and sign a waiver stating you fully understand the risks before using it.  If people end up feeling like they can't control their impulses, I will step in and remove their access from the device (you can request this from me whenever you'd like via DM). </span><br />
<br />
<br />
<blockquote><cite>Quote:</cite><span style="font-weight: bold;">What is the average price per rare?</span></blockquote>
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><br />
Current Ruby version Statistics for 1,000 procs:</span><br />
<div class="codeblock">
<div class="title">Code:<br />
</div><div class="body" dir="ltr"><code>Total Rubies Spent:2,963,800<br />
Total Items obtained:1,000<br />

Total Spent Commons:1,366,500<br />
<br />
Average rubies per item: 2,964<br />

<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Keep in mind this can vary drastically because of RNG.</span></span>]]></description>

<br />
<br />
You can type !improb to read more about this, and see the specific rates.<br />
<a class='oembed' href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="window.open('https://images.frg.gg/3d2a0a05f28ce2dccb16897613e84264.png', '', 'toolbar=no');myWindow.focus();"><img src="https://images.frg.gg/3d2a0a05f28ce2dccb16897613e84264.png" style="max-width: 800px;max-height:600px;" alt="Image" title="Full sized Picture" /></a><br />
<br />
The rates screen has a nice little interactive calculator, so you can see your odds depending on the attempt.<br />
<a class='oembed' href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="window.open('https://images.frg.gg/88893de10c288401f7ffb28eacb2c557.png', '', 'toolbar=no');myWindow.focus();"><img src="https://images.frg.gg/88893de10c288401f7ffb28eacb2c557.png" style="max-width: 800px;max-height:600px;" alt="Image" title="Full sized Picture" /></a><br />
<br />
<br />
Currently the Improbability device is only available on the Coinshop for rubies, however, the Coin version will be available in around 2 days.<br />

<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
That said, I have ensured there's at least ONE discovery in the coin version, separate from the ruby version, but it's possible there will be more too depending on rng of course. </span><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<blockquote><cite>Quote:</cite><span style="font-weight: bold;">What is the average price per rare?</span></blockquote>
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><br />
Current Ruby version Statistics for 1,000 procs:</span><br />
<div class="codeblock">
<div class="title">Code:<br />

<br />
With the event now finally naturally procing, I figured I'd let everyone know it's live, and detail a few things about the event.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">What is Tribulation?</span></span></span><br />
Tribulation is a highly experimental event that was supposed to come out ages ago, but was postponed many times due to a large variety of reasons (lack of time being the primary). I was not working on it the entire time, but here and there. Anyways enough of that. <br />
<br />
It is our hardest event yet, and up to 24 players can work together to tackle this challenge. I have completely recoded my entire mob and boss base from the ground up to be highly optimized and more engaging. I did a lot of work trying to make killing these things FEEL good and not nearly as boring as say, spiders on IoD. <br />
<br />
Players are split up into Instances, max of 6 players per instance. Each instance has their own set of enemies, but some enemies are seen by everyone in every instance! Everyone outside your instance has locational voice chat, so using in-game voice chat to work with your instance is highly recommended. Beware, if an instance is wiped, all of its mobs are dispersed evenly to all other instances!<br />
<br />
<a class='oembed' href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="window.open('https://images.frg.gg/11.16.40-11.07.21.png', '', 'toolbar=no');myWindow.focus();"><img src="https://images.frg.gg/11.16.40-11.07.21.png" style="max-width: 800px;max-height:600px;" alt="Image" title="Full sized Picture" /></a><br />
<hr />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">How do I join this event?</span></span></span><br />
The Tribulation portal tries to open twice a day, once at 4am, and once at 4pm. Once opened, the portal STAYS open for 12 hours, letting players keep attempting it with little to no cooldowns on trying it.  Upon opening there will be a System message broadcasted to all servers and discord as well stating that it has opened.<br />
<br />
All you do is head to the Tribulation section in the lobby and stand in there and you'll auto queue for one if applicable. If you fail to join the server, or crash, you can directly connect to the trib server or rejoin the lobby and type !ejoin.<br />
<hr />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Are there any cooldowns?</span></span></span><br />
After 3 attempts, upon losing you will get a cooldown that is 5 minutes times your number of runs for that portal open duration. Upon winning you get a 6 hour cooldown. <br />
<hr />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">How does Loot work?</span></span></span><br />
The primary loot you will likely obtain are Tribulation Loot pouches, and Hell Shards found from the chests through out the event. These chests go on cooldown for 2 hours once you open them, allowing you to only obtain Hell Shards from them. <br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">Rune of looting currently does not work here.</span><br />
<br />
Players who do well, and don't die receive boosted loot.  The amount of shards players get is dampened based on how many runs they've done, and their performance.  (So you can't infinite farm shards from 1st chest, as an example) <br />
<br />
I will not be disclosing what shards do at this time, but once I get a good idea on how many shards people will get during an entire portal duration, I'll disclose more.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">What does ranking mean at the end screen?</span></span></span><br />
<a class='oembed' href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="window.open('https://images.frg.gg/11.18.45-11.07.21.png', '', 'toolbar=no');myWindow.focus();"><img src="https://images.frg.gg/11.18.45-11.07.21.png" style="max-width: 800px;max-height:600px;" alt="Image" title="Full sized Picture" /></a><br />
Your ranking is relative to other players in the event. <br />
<br />
3 stars = top 15% performance overall.  Dying subtracts from your ranking tier. (Bronze, silver, gold). Gold is pretty much only possible if you don't die. <br />
Your performance is a measurement of many factors, skewed by how important I deem something. Dying subtracts a lot from your ranking, total damage, total kills, time alive, damage dealt to mobs who were 'absorbed', etc are all factors in your ranking. <br />
<br />
As stated, some are more important than others(just getting a bunch of kills and not helping with objectives is not going to net you that much score) but I don't want to disclose the exact details obviously.<br />
<hr />
That should cover most of the basics, I'll be updating this post if I think of more things to add. <br />
<br />
Good luck, and I hope you guys enjoy it.]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<span style="font-family: Arial Black;"><span style="font-size: x-large;"><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #33ccff;">The Easter Seasonal event is here!</span></div></span></span><br />

<br />
<br />
<hr />
<span style="font-family: Arial Black;"><br />
This update brings a new Seasonal Pass with some exciting new items to discover, the brand new Easter Egg VI (crazy its been that many easter eggs!), Dilapidation <span style="color: #ff3333;">HARD MODE</span>, and more!<br />
<br />
<a class='oembed' href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="window.open('https://images.frg.gg/22.48.23-04.04.21.png', '', 'toolbar=no');myWindow.focus();"><img src="https://images.frg.gg/22.48.23-04.04.21.png" style="max-width: 800px;max-height:600px;" alt="Image" title="Full sized Picture" /></a><br />
<br />
The new eggs give 3 items per egg, this effectively condenses what would be 3 separate eggs, into one. This means you spend less time popping them open, and more time playing. Because of this however, the prices per egg has increased.<br />
<a class='oembed' href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="window.open('https://images.frg.gg/22.46.50-04.04.21.png', '', 'toolbar=no');myWindow.focus();"><img src="https://images.frg.gg/22.46.50-04.04.21.png" style="max-width: 800px;max-height:600px;" alt="Image" title="Full sized Picture" /></a><br />
Donator eggs are 150 rubies per (from 70 rubies per egg last year), and coin eggs will be 825 each. Don't worry though because you also need 3x less to level this up in crate progression.<br />
<br />
All in all there are over 25 new discoverable items, making this the *biggest* seasonal event to date. (General number so you don't know the exact amount just yet!)<br />
</span><br />
<hr />
<span style="font-family: Verdana;"><br />
<br />
Full Changelog:<br />
</span><br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><ul>
<li>Added the new Seasonal pass.</li>
<li>Added Easter Egg VI - this will be available for rubies for 1 week, then both coins and rubies after 1 week.</li>
<li>Added "Easter Gifts" (jack-o-lantern style loot)</li>
<li>Completely remade Dilapidation's AI code, it is now way more optimized on the server-side, meaning it can handle more things going on. Still not perfect, but its an improvement.</li>
<li>Added "Dilapidation Hard Mode" which has a 1 in 4 chance to show up in place of normal dilap on the mapvote. For the duration of the seasonal dilapidation rates have been increased, and you can drop current Easter gifts in the event.</li>
<li>Fixed ammo bug in dilapidation (re-equip and not having ammo)</li>
<li>Challenge scrolls now grant XP per step completed rather than only granting XP for completing the entire thing.</li>
<li>Removed the April fools event. Don't worry, Boomboxes and Mixtapes will come back in some form (especially mixtapes). <br />
</li></ul>

You can get all mats/catalysts from these without unlocking the tier as well, however, not having the tier 'full potential' ('Next Tier' perk for the tier below) unlocked grants you lower mats/proc rates from those tiers.</li>
<li>All players now receive an untradeable 50 slot Large Backpack upon first join to help manage all the loot (You can obtain yours by rejoining).<br />
</li></ul>
<br />
The goal of these changes is to make the loot you obtain easier to manage, especially for newer players, so be sure to help inform newbies they can enable auto-dismantle in !settings. (It tells them in chat as well until they open the settings menu)]]></content:encoded>

<br />
There's likely other changes/additions that I forgot to write down for this post, but I hope you guys enjoy the content! <br />
<br />
Some info about Tribulation:<ul>
<li>Where's Tribultation?? That was supposed to be for halloween!!<ul>
<li>Yes I know, it's very late, and I feel terrible about it. I dedicated 100% of my time to finishing this seasonal though. With it complete I will go back to focusing on finishing Tribulation. I am hoping to have it out before the new year. Tribulation has evolved so much from what it originally was supposed to be. <br />
<br />
It was supposed to be just a boss fight at first, then turned into a  'really simple event', which then turned into something more complex and interesting. It was also supposed to just be a seasonal event and go away after halloween. After all the work I've put into it, I've decided to make it a permanent addition when it is completed, so since it'll be around for good, I want it to be the best it can be, and that takes time. I apologize for releasing info about it too early, and getting you all hyped then not following through with my promises. I do hope you will all enjoy it when it does come out, it will be our toughest challenge yet. <br />
</li></ul></li>
<li>What the heck is Tribulation? Is it an Ejoin, TTT event, or lobby event?<ul>
<li>Tribulation is sort of a new type of event. It's not a TTT event, it's not an ejoin, and it's not a lobby event. Since the event is so difficult, if it were a TTT event, people would be very upset having to wait for it to show up on map vote, only to likely wipe for the first number of attempts, then having to wait for it again. It originally was going to be a TTT event, but the direction its heading now makes that not ideal.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">It will be something you join from the lobby, without a party system, but also on its own server like Ejoin events.</span> <br />
<br />
That is all I'll say about it for now, don't want to stir the pot too much.<br />
</li></ul>
