A special use for Forerunner Fragments

#1
I was thinking about some sort of advanced gambling system centered around Gun creation. This is going to be really bare-bones and uninformative, I'm mostly just slapping ideas down here incoherently and without structure.

The basic premise would be you will be offered a selection of choices for "Gun Creation", ranging from:

Weapon Type
Rarity
# of Traits
Suffix
Enhancable (?)
Color/Glow
Specific Tier

Nothing is guaranteed, but the more "Resources" you place on one, the higher chance you have for that. Let's say I'm aiming for a Swift Deagle, so I put a lot into Weapon Type (Deagle) and Rarity (Rare), Specific Tier (Swift), hoping to get what I want. I can put a LOT of resources to nearly-guarantee what I'm aiming for (A Swift Deagle), or I can use less to have a less chance (Perhaps if I'm unlucky I'll "roll" an Unlikely instead, or maybe it won't be a Deagle).

The currencies used would have different values, going from:

Forerunner Fragments (Very High)
Rubies (Low)
Coins (Very Low)

Perhaps other options can exist. Now, choosing MORE MODIFIERS is exponentially more expensive, and just as risky. Let's say I want to gamble for a single Primordial. This is totally hypothetical, but let's say it'd cost 40 Fragments, or 2000 Rubies, or 4000 Coins (Just winging it). If I place down 30 Fragments and 500 Rubies, it should be about equal to the 40 Fragments if I just did that. Or I could do 40 Fragments and 2000 Rubies, increasing my chances. If I want a suffix, say a random one, I can add more cost to it, which would increase the overall cost.

You could select, say, a guaranteed rarity (Unlikely), or let it be random. Choosing a guaranteed (which isn't 100%) would cost more than choosing a random type.

Sorry if this is hard to make sense of. It should be kinda a currency sink.
