generally speaking my experience with fishing has been positive.
that's the best I can really say about it...
it just feels like there simply isn't enough to *do*, players have gotten somewhat of an event fatigue for kraken and a lot of the people who can use/do fish with kraken lures are, ironically, incentivized to try not to summon it most of the time
I really hope that Fishing update 2.0 comes soon and with lots to do (and I believe it will) but until that point fishing can only really be seen either as the headstart for fishing 2.0 or an empty void of terranable weapons.
