Do you call it a Slurpee, or a Slushie?

#1
I've been focusing more on conversations now-a-days and I'm just curious. Do you guys say Slushie(s) or Slurpee(s) You know, for the frozen carbonated beverages. Myself growing up have always called em Slushies, but i hear people calling em Slurpees and I'm just confused about the whole thing. Yes I know the original drinks were called Slurpees, but i guess it's just a strange thing...

PS. I know Slushies and Slurpees are different, but I always called them the same thing...

Same thing like bathroom or washroom, bathroom and soda is natural US culture, while pop and washroom is natural Canadian culture.

I call it a nasty sugary drink that I don't touch because water is a perfectly delicious, free, healthy and refreshing beverage.
