When you put one of them inside a socketable gun, it keeps the re-rolled stats; so if you roll perfect insanely strong stats, you can keep them forever inside of the socketed weapon.

Saliferous does do this, and it doesnt seem like it'd be a huge issue if they were able to be kept like this. Even with the best roll I have gotten on it, there was still downsides to the stats that made it bairly compete with global tiers. It would help the tier possibly be on par with most other ones as rare as it.

It's not an issue, and people like it as a feature. To me, I would deem it a feature of saliferous even if it is a bug.
