as long as leeching isnt enforced or anything, no reason to leave people potentially sitting in spectator for like 30-40 min if they miss the mark
just let them spawn up until oxylus, itll be better for new players that join

I'm mixed on this. I believe I remember the time that cuts out is 8 minutes. Dilap generally takes 30 minutes max. I doubt it's being changed. This kind of is negated by the discord system announcements telling people immediately. This pairs with people only wanting to join in the later half of the game because 6-15 crates (3 bosses in) isn't going to matter for most people compared to Oxylus loot. There definitely are been people who want leechers to not get loot for not participating for the whole thing. There WILL be leechers, especially on low player count.
Only thing I can see thing benefiting are the people who join late, or unexpectedly crash and for some reason can't join back (I'm not sure if this is still a problem). Shame they have to wait approx 20 minutes, but there's a couple of things to do while waiting.
I'm not against it, just thinking it's not needed.
