I was bored so I was looking at the ban lists. I saw the name 'John Doe' several times and then I searched how many times John Doe was banned. 299 times in all, rip.

Brassx doesn't like to talk about it, but his girlfriend cheated on him with John Doe. Now he bans him every time he thinks about him.

When a steam id is banned it just shows the name as "John Doe."

it's when the system has no data about the Steam name associated to the STEAM ID. John Doe is used in a lot of systems. It's what they call unidentified person(s).

If any dead bodies show up in a crime lab without identification, they are referred to as "John/Jane Doe".
