Steampunk since lots of the cool guns we have are magic and advance tech . Also with steampunk we can make it spooky

Special shared mechanics, just like the enhanceable crate only had enhanceable items.
For example, a series of guns that used the crystal blender idea but had special items that socketed only, which would change the bullet/proc.
