RE: is a poptart a sandwich - GreatP3ngi - 03-03-2018 ![]() If you are dumb/ poor enough to consider poptart crust as bread, then get the hell out of my MySpace top 5 RE: is a poptart a sandwich - Unpoke - 03-03-2018 (03-02-2018, 05:17 PM)Dreadark Wrote: Jelly filled donuts as well as pop-tarts are not sandwiches. Evidence is shown in the fact that sandwiches do not have the buns connecting on any side, even with grilled cheese sandwiches, whereas pop-tarts are enclosed by all four of its sides; in addition, this means that hotdogs cannot be labelled as sandwiches because they are enclosed on one side, not none. They have breading on both the upper and the bottom half of what's inbetween it (the jelly) though, as do hotdogs depending on the angle you view it. I feel like the jelly from a poptart was also made separately from the breading (you can find recipes online) and later added. As for jelly doughnuts, places such as Dunkin Donuts actually add the filling there by poking a hole in the side of the doughnut and pressing in the filling, making it separate until added in. As for having "two slices of bread," bread comes uncut in an entire loaf as well. It needs to be cut to make two, and doughnuts/poptarts/hotdogs crustings could be cut in half.
