make it like a smoke screen. It does the same thing as the snowglobe, but instead of shooting it at someone, it bursts out from you. It slows people, speeds you and clouds their visions.

Hmm..
What about if the snowglobe effect doesn't have velocity anymore(doesn't shoot forward), instead is 'attached' the the snowglobe. Maybe you can drop the snowglobe too and it will still emit from it giving you all the damage/buffs from it (allowing you to place it somewhere strategically). Along with that, you will be immune to the effects of it for the most part (you wont be able to see shit).
So the blizzard will be attached directly to you, when activated your gravity could* also be lower allowing you to float (due to the wind).
Now changes with the effects:
- Still leeches HP and speed, however, the speed effect won't instantly go away as players exit the blizzard. Instead they will moderately 'drain'. Allowing you to keep the speed boost for a short time.
- It can never drain anyone past a certain health (5 - 10 hp?). Meaning it can't directly kill anyone.
- When active you(the user of it) won't be able to use any other weapon. Perhaps if I remove being able to drop it while active, I can make it so you can't switch to any other weapons while it's active too.
Thoughts?

This would make it more practical, and possibly more fun(being able to float around in a blizzard), but still somewhat novelty. You can follow people with it and get a speed boost so you can trap people in it.

not to necro a thread but no point in making another, snowglobe is pretty much useless outside of just kinda being cute
what if it just attaches to the globe and puts you inside a "snowglobe" (just a giant glass sphere with the blizzard effect in it) and it heals everyone inside rapidly whether theyre on your team or not, so its like a group support thing
you cant shoot out of it, you cant shoot in it, although the shell has a set amount of health and is breakable
make it last a few seconds, at least enough to heal you to full health
