From what I can see on NTG forums, you decided to step down to admin from manager, made a departure thread, and you got demoted to user for making that departure, when you didn't want to be, even though it clearly says "You will be stripped of your rank completely once you make one".
If this is all to the story, then it really doesn't seem like you got stabbed in the back(since is does say when you make a departure you WILL be demoted), but if not, please do correct me.
Anyways, just wanted to get that out of the way.
