i was used to seeing ads like on other servers so instantly closed it thinking it was an ad i personally think it should be in the loading screen

Nearly every server has the !motd command that lists the rules. You have no excuse for breaking the rules.

To be fair, you can't really expect literally every person joining the server to read the rules. Even I don't do it when I join servers, although DDOS threats are something that should be pretty obvious not to do.

DDOS threats are taken very seriously here. (Most servers too I'd assume.) However, posting this ban appeal shows that you actually care to play on the server again. Whether you care enough for good reasons or bad reasons I'm not too sure but I'm willing to give you ONE more shot. Please don't make me regret this. Everyone keep an eye on this guy and let me know if any problems arise. I suggest actually READING the rules this time please. Unbanned.
