Every time i join frg I can't be on it for more than a minute without it crashing gmod. It was working fine earlier

Try these steps:

• Delete your Data folder located steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\data
• Rename your cl.db file to cl_backup.db located at steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\
  

Do those steps then try to join, see if you still crash.

I tried those and it didn't work thanks for the suggestion
