So, I'm so burnt out on FRG that I feel like leaving for a while. But making a lame post about me being tired is so dumb! Instead, I'm gonna host an Open Fortress tourney. First place gets a bunch of cool stuff and maybe garbage, second place gets NOTHING.
Open Fortress, for those who don't know, is a Source mod for Team Fortress 2 that transforms it into an Arena shooter in the likes of Quake. Lots of weapons, powerups and most importantly, bhopping (speed is fun.) I thought it would be pretty cool to host this because the game is fun.
I have enough faith in myself that the ruleset I made will result in the tourney not taking too long and still be fun. So here goes:
Matches will be Free for All
Map timer will be 15 minutes
Frag limit for the map will be 20
First to three wins gets the prize pool
The prize pool contains
Firework Launcher (Liberty, Independence)
Virulent Harvester
Spine of Sothoth
Ender of Dreams
Allegiance (Alert, Flash, Healing, Lift, Black Hole, Teleport)
Swappy Bunny Dart Gun (lol)
Present TP Glaedr (Extinct soon™)
16 Liberty Jewels
3 Tribulated Amythest
Professional Easing Rune (Thank me for Oblivion)
10k Gold Bars (WOW)
Noctt has graciously added on to the prize pool, for what reason I dunno!

HS Refill Calamity
Spine of Sothoth
Artillery Shell Cata
Dawnripper
The tourney will be hosted on July 23rd at 7pm CST, so it'd be best to practice and learn the game by then.
I will hand out the server IP by then in the Discord and in this thread.
You don't need to signup or anything, just join the server IP when it's up. There will be a password that I'll provide.
